Now all we need is Tales Of The Bounty Hunters so we can get the unaired arc of The Clone Wars w/ Cad Bane and Boba Fett to be official Star Wars canon and show finished animation of Boba Fett in his iconic green Mando armor in the animation style of The Clone Wars. We need that story made. Doing it in anthology series akin to Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Empire is the best way to do it.

The idea of Barriss recognizing Anakin is a chilling one. The man who humbled you and destroyed your whole world being in charge of your only escape from your life of prison... I mean I cant imagine the fear she had when vader walked in. SO GOOD

I gotta say, excluding Andor, Star Wars animation is absolutely slaughtering Star Wars live action in the visuals and storytelling departments. It isn't even close at this point.

I really love this animation style. It has a high degree of realism; I can easily imagine the ships, droids, and props becoming real, tangible things. The stylization for the people makes sure they stay WELL outside of the uncanny valley, and really highlights the quality of the modeling and texturing they can do.

Seeing post prequel era characters and ships in clone wars animation is something I’ve been wanting to see for literal years. Very excited about this and the wait isn’t even that long.

I'm just glad they're bringing Grievous back even if it's a flashback! Hoping that if they do a Grievous show as well

Also gotta love the reappearance of Marrok and that unknown reaper-like Inquisitor from Tales of the Jedi. Maybe we'll finally figure out that guy's name? Who knows?

Now that we know the title changes with each "season" we could see Tales of the Old Republic, Tales of the Bounty Hunters, Tales of the Sith, Tales of the High Republic (gimme Dagan in TCW style), etc.

Honestly, they just need to make the rest of the Star Wars stories with this animation. I know people want live action. But I feel like you can do so much more within storytelling with this animation. All the characters look so good. And the settings are so cool looking.

Was it Dave Filoni that said if the fans like the Clone Wars style stuff they’ll keep making them? If so I’m just happy they’re actually following through and giving us more. Bad Batch and Tales are currently the best thing going for SW imo

Tales of the sith next, I wanna see a palpatine and plagueis arc. Maybe also an arc covering what happened to maul between being captured by palpatine and the seige of mandalor.

I wanna see a “Tales of the Exiled” One story is about Baylan Skoll as a Jedi and Post-Order 66 The other story is about Thrawn and Ezra during their exile

I will wager that season 3, if created, will likely be called "Tales of the Rebellion?" Just a thought.

This style of animation is so damn perfect.

The Lucas Films/ILM animation is great and a great full circle moment for them if you know their history with this technology. Considering they helped develop this technology originally with starting up PIXAR back in the day.

If they do this different every season, I hope they have tales of the old Republic I would love to have an episode arc feature something like a Starweird we haven’t seen those in live action or animation they are highly underrated, dark side creatures.

The Luminara theory is something that I really wish happens. If it is real, I bet it will either result in Barriss being the one to kill her (basically Barriss's "dark side ending") or Luminara will redeem Barriss and they both die fighting the Empire, like you said (the "light side ending").

This looks so good. Star Wars can produce amazing content if it is has good stories to tell.

4:55 Thrawn was discovered in pretty much the same way in both canon and legends. There’s small discrepancies, like Eli Vanto being involved, and Booster Terrick not being part of it, but it’s more or less the same

Maybe it's because I never cared much for The Clone Wars 2008 except for the final arc, but Tales of the Jedi was amazing to me. It really fleshed out Dooku and made him a fully three dimensional character. The Ahsoka episodes, except for the first one, made me love the character. I'm bummed you're not getting more but the concept of every season taken place in different eras and focusing on different factions is pretty interesting. I wanna see a Grievous origin story, a young Yoda story, a Plagueis story, an Asajj story and, of course, a Baylen and Shin story edit: also, Tarre Vizsla origin story

The Clones in the Inquisitors scene are most likely the first versions of The Purge Troopers before they changed armors into the ones in Jedi Fallen Order and the Phase 2 armors in Kenobi

The art style alone makes me excited, it looks beautiful. I hope the plot is half as good if not better

I’m extremely excited for this show! I hope it becomes a sort of may 4th tradition, maybe next year we get tales of the new republic about Luke, Leia, and Hans adventures after rotj, just a little more redemption, other great ideas I’ve seen are tales of the bounty hunters and tales of the sith all which have multiple seasons worth of content and stories that could be told!

Can we just get tales of everybody? I absolutely love these animated series 😂 I’d love a Tales of the Rebellion with leaders like Bail Organa and Ackbar (since we saw a decent bit of Mon Mothma in Andor), or anything really that could show some cool New Republic era space battles. Imagine the Home One with a full New Republic assault fleet in clone wars style animation against an Imperial Remnant fleet.

Even though I'm very excited about this, I wish we had a piece of Star Wars media that's told from the average imperial perspective, not inquisitors or other force sensitive persons. It would be cool to see stories in which are told from the perspective of a imperial officer or ISB agent, Stormtroopers or Army troopers, or Tie pilots or even a civil servant for that matter. It Would be interesting to see how someone who serves the Empire response to all the evil going on around them. would they rebel or dessert, or just quit out of conscience, would they carry out thier orders but doing in way that allows them to do the right thing and have a clean conscience while technically obeying them, or would they just obey the orders to the letter or even exploit the situation to their own advantage in typical imperial sociopathic fashion. I think that would be a great series idea wise, but I don't think Disney will have the balls for that. Plus it's nice to see thrawns glowing eyes getting more prominence, very consistent with Legends.

Also good to see Disney getting the grand inquisitors looks Right if they actually tried unlike the life action

I saw the trailer when it was released 50 seconds ago, i got to admit it looks good the cgi and everything and i was so excited tonsee grevious he looked badass seeing that Im basically finished watching The Clone Wars fully it was pretty nice to see him.

But we all know Vader isn’t one to imprison

I know that we Clone Wars era people have been spoiled, and I'm so glad Star Wars is offering more stories away from that era. But I still feel like any time there are stories in this era, it's just some of my favorites for Star Wars, so I hope we can come back to it someday.

I wonder if Ray Stevenson recorded any lines for this show before he passed away since this ties into Morgan’s story. It would be a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

I'm looking forward to seeing this but...IMO this would have been more impactful if it had been shown prior to the Ahsoka series premiere. That series did a disservice to both Thrawn & Morgan by not really giving us any insight into their relationship. This is where I wish Lucasfilm was more forward thinking - they always seem like they put something out then have to go back and explain it; how about building up to something then have a payoff?

I want Disney to use this art style to make Legends movies, kind of like what DC Animation does for their most famous comic stories.

I would very much like this shorts series to be like the EU Tales books: a collection of short stories focused on different aspects of the greater galaxy. I didn't know if they would be willing to do a season with such a narrow focus as the Mos Eisley cantina, or Jabba's palace, but a season dedicated to bounty hunters or the greater underworld would be excellent.
