While I 100% understand the complaints of the tank. But I think it does make sense in the universe. It's clear that the empire doesn't care one bit about their soldiers or quality. It's all quantity and the unified face, and the tie tank fits both those bills. It's cheap, utilizing the tie fighters shell in half its components, and it continues to present the same unified face as tie fighters and other variants.

I think i remember reading some years ago (and commenting about it) something. One of the biggest advantages of the stormtrooper armor was it be capable of distributing the strength of a blaster shot trough the plate that got hit. The damage of the hit would be visible on the surface (the melted/singed mark), but it would have no penetration on the other side. The problem, is that there was no thermal shielding for the trooper. It would not die, that is for sure, but would have a nasty 1st or 2nd degree burn underneath the hit plate, spreaded around the area the plate cover. And eventually would be penetrated by higher caliber, or cook the trooper after get shot enough times. That is one of the possible reasons troopers still move on the ground after getting hit: they are in shock, or in pain, but still alive.

I’ll probably buy the gold edition cause it’s Star Wars and I’m a fan. Plus I want to see more Star Wars games made in the future and the only way that’s possible is if u buy it. I mean if u don’t like it then don’t support it. Each one of the dlcs is probably like 15 bucks separate, so add that to the 70 dollar base game it’s 100 bucks, which is just 10 bucks shy of the gold edition.

When they discovered how to transfer m-count in the cloning process, instead of recruiting storm troopers or decommissioning the clone army, the empire should have simply made a smaller force of high m-count clone soldiers. Not to teach them how to use the force. But just to make their soldiers more “lucky”, and more capable of impossible tasks. And since they are such a valuable asset they should be armored in special beskar storm trooper armor, with a cortosis body suit to protect from lightsabers and heavy blaster fire. They should be enhanced with cybernetics. Their armor can have a powerful jet pack, and their limbs or gauntlets can have repulsor lift nodes almost like iron man’s armor. They would use the most powerful and high tech gear in the galaxy and be commanded by either vader or an inquisitor. A single unit capable of taking an entire planet even if protected by a whole army.

Ah the Rebel Katyusha rockets system, I absolutely despise this thing because the AI will spam this during raid battle(Early game) and wipe out all my turrets and non-shielded troops/vehicle.

You fail to remember one weapon system the venators hsd. The beam weapon thats penetrated sheilds and detonated a munificence on a single shot

Fun fact: *Stormtroopers had aimbot.* This is cannon to and ive noticed this in a new hope. Han when firing with the stormtrooper helmet of would nail his targets in the heart about every single time. But stirmtroopers missed becusse tarken wanted to capture them alive. Thats legit it. They wanted them alive to impress vader and make an example which gave the rebellion the chance to win. Plus stormtroopers have the rifles linked with their helmet that have a HUD. Clones had this too but it wasnt as effective as they were natural marksmen. And due to the vaccume sealed suit radiation does about nothing. Same for gas, meaning Stormtroopers have an extreme advantage. With aiming. And the E-11 had armor penetration capabilitys so the armor of an elite CAN be penetrated if heated up enough and pelted enough. So in conclusion Stormtroopers had a massive accuracy bonus as we've seen in a new hope thats stormtroopers jn the start hit about every shot THROUGH smoke and in it while exiting as well. Making it obvious. Capturing Leia without a single issue. Also, Obi-wan did kinda confirm the accuracy with "Only the accuracy of the Storm-trooper can do this" and we've seen them dominate other battles in the start but slip in the end as they wanna capture the rest of the rebel alliance troops.

I feel like a lightwhip for a jedi might be a little against their doctrine. Way more brutal of a weapon and probably doesnt have the defense vibe of normal sabers. But i do think lightwhips are dope

True "lasers" should move at the speed of light. It would look like a coherent beam incinerating anything in it's path. Instead of seeing a beam or explosions, you'd see tiny particles being incinerated in its path. The object it strikes would take point damage at the spot it struck. If it hit the reactor and caused a breach THEN the ship would explode. For the Death Star to be able to destroy a planet this beam would NOT be a laser, but an energy conduit that forces huge volumes of superheated plasma at the target. Think of it less as a laser and more like a CME that's concentrated into a very tight beam. (in universe, the beam powered by HUGE kyber crystals, while tiny kyber crystals power lightsabers)

I think the best shot SW would have is during the Jedi civil war in the Old Republic. Sith Revan during the Jedi civil war had the Star Forge, able to create ships, and more importantly droid soldiers in a matter of hours and minutes respectively. Revan was both a tactical genius and was ruthless enough to destroy populations or blockade planets in order to give himself any advantage he seems worth it. I’m not sure he’d win at all but I think this specific time period would have the best shot at winning, which is still to say not a very good shot 😅

Capital ships wise I'd take: 1 isd 2 Victory 4 Gladiators (assuming they hold a more realistic amount of fighters) At least 1 Interdictor cruiser. A whole bunch of Raiders.

Once you destroyed the first ship....not to mention all those destroyed and damaged by fleet combat....the beams would be more visible, due to all the debris and particulates.

And thus, the actual good guys won.

IMO the weapons on the blade are actually able to turn in 60 degrees (as apparently shown in Empire at War Legacy Mod). From what we see in the comics they were clearly mounted on turrets, which are meant to let them turn.

What I'm terrified about. Is even after a sale or a year from now. basically what happened with the avatar game. It being Terribly optimized and an absolute Vram hog. For no reason. Just another reason not to preorder for me
