Super late, but I went through the same thing. During the pandemic I listened to all Damon's projects pretty much on repeat.

Amazing performance...wondering how Damon is able to hold back the emotions and dish out this smoky hot piece and kudos to the drummer...Tony Allen lives in us all and and will continue to rest in perfect peace. I am at peace his legacy will never be forgotten....tears of joy and mixed emotions began to roll out of my eyes from 2seconds in this clip till the very end. Thank you Damon and you rock in your "lockdown" overgrown hair. Love you brother from Dublin Ireland. 😘✊

Tony Allen is a big loss. There used to be some great vids of him and Amp at the pori jazz festival from 2012 singing "Love and War" and "Don't take my kindness for weakness". If anyone can post it would mean alot. Much love to Tony's family and friends. I'm sure he's rocking it in the afterlife.

Tony Allen made me learn drumming. His stable posture and calm kind smile while he did beats so hard to even come close to for professional performers. His feel and invention, his coordination. There will be no other like him, even if we gonna witness or are already witnessing brilliant drummers. I was lucky living in the same time as him. Thank you Damon for such a good tribute.
