I love delena so much, but I find it so rude that Elena’s intentions were always questioned with Damon but nobody questioned Caroline’s intentions with Klaus or Matt’s with Rebekah. Don’t get me wrong I love them all but Caroline everyone can be really hypocritical, Damon literally would’ve died for Elena at any time and yes he did some bad things but so did everyone else, so why is only Elena questioned about her loving him.

lets all think about the part where stefan stalked her for 3 months and completely ruined her life by unleashing the supernatural into it which he could’ve kept from happening. and people say he couldn’t have done anything about klaus coming to sacrifice her since he has spies and such but they literally mentioned that pretty much nobody knew that the doppelgänger was alive, the only way klaus found out was through elijah finding out. and if stefan hadn’t ruined her life.. she wouldnt have met elijah and none of it would’ve happened. obviously elena meeting the supernatural and becoming one herself is the base of the show, its what made everything happen, but if we’re thinking logically all that crap before even 20 years old is pretty life changing and not in such a good way, like she became a vampire and her aunt AND dad and brother died bc stefan brought this into her life. but remember when damon met her, he compelled her to forget him and he moved on, he didnt obsess over her existence and barely thought of her until they met again. and its even worse that damon was 10 times more in love with katherine than stefan was, but yet he easily moved past elena unlike stefan. they were both confused about elenas existence but only stefan was psychotic enough to stalk her all summer and obsess over her. nobody mentions that he did that and its super creepy when you really think about it., especially that she was a minor and he was well over 100 years old..
