See firsthand what it's like to rip down one of the heaviest downhill mountain bike tracks ever created, through he GoPro view of the creator himself, Dan Atherton. It's why Red Bull Hardline is an event like no other. The long and technical course plays on a variety of disciplines, where incredibly steep and rocky technical sections were combined with a motocross run in and 50-foot [15.24 meters] gap jump to create one of the most progressive downhill courses on the planet.

2. Ruaridh Cunningham (GBR) 3.34.86 (+2.40)

just looking at this if they remove the ramps it would be easy as fuck, literally the only thing that makes this hard is the ramps THATS IT, on the spots where you can get speed its easy because there looks to be practaclly nothing to slow you down, sure you get close to some trees but there is plenty of space to pass through, then there is some rocky areas, and i would just slow down and take my time just like the dude in the video, this is nothing special quite frankly and im not impressed.

@TheDustyShredder
@TheDustyShredder 5 жыл бұрын
BlessingPrism18 1) nice dark side of the moon profile pic, 2) there is more to doing a manual on a mtb than just lifting the wheel with your arms. Its using the fulcrum the rear wheel provides and your body weight to pull the wheel BACK, rather than up. Its also half a bunny hop. Oh, and the way mtb'ers do it, is the way it should be done, cause those damn bikes are heavy! (or at least heavier than a bmx bike)

MrLehi99 we don't even have cards fast enough to do that yet. literally. CF might get close, but not SD, noob. and if we did, hours of recording at 1440p 60 frames would be terrabytes of space. i'm a full time videographer and i can assure you we're a long way from that yet. Things like black magic now go straight to SSD because they chew through so much data

MrLehi99 have i stumbled across a bunch of people who have never used cameras before? i know it compresses video you fucking twit. it still uses a lot of space if it was raw you would need a terrabyte every 4 minutes or so. gopro is only just recently able to use 128 gb cards, and the ones fast enough to that kind of rate are rare and expensive. it also makes the camera run hot and the quality is reduced considerably havecamerawilltravel.com/photographer/memory-card-size-gopro-hero4

If you do downhill like this, you did not realize the danger. You're in a kind of a flow. All what you see is the line in front of you. When I go to downhill I have fear. But when I started I come to the "flow" and the fear is gone. All what I see is the line. The most dangerous things are the big jumps. You are in the air for a few seconds. It is absolutely important, that you meet the right direction. Otherwise you'll make a nosedive.
