To discover your true "blues name", you pick 1- an affliction, 2- a fruit, and 3- last name of a dead American president; i.e. Blind Lemon Johnson. My bass player's blues name is, Colostomy Kumquat Kennedy. Even our drummer, who's real name is Rocky Tempo, has a blues name: Restless-Leg Syndrome Elderberry Van Buren. On keys, Chubby Checkerberry Coolidge. On guitar, Chlamydia Cowberry Cleveland. Make up your own blues name. it's fun.

+christian gisborne little black submarines is a blatant rip off of stairway to heaven, he uses al,oust the same exact chords and the " oh can it be", "they get lost and out of time part" are melodies from stairway to heaven. Not to mention, lonely boy,s E-G riff is from T. rex. Gold on the ceiling main c to Bb to g riff is blatantly taken from the yardbirds "I'm a man" and from countless blues songs. The overall look of the band was all ripped of from Jack white. Jack white has the right to hate them, in a number of the black keys songs you can hear melodies and riff, chord changes, etc that Jack white has used. Another song is that Fever is has already been used in similar song a long time ago. As I said they have some good songs but they shouldn't be getting 100% full credit for

christian gisborne Little Black Submarines is not a rip-off, similar song structure, yes, but not a rip off. If you're going to call any song that has a similar structure a rip off, you're going to be here awhile. I've listened to both songs _many_ times, and I've never heard "the exact same chords", as you stated. What specific song? That's a band, not a song, unless they ripped off every T-Rex song in one song? I will look into the Yardbird's song later, but if it's anything like the Stairway/Submarines one, I know you're talking out of your ass. "Countless blues songs", that's not specific, try again. Bullshit, they look nothing like Jack White. Unless you're taking about them both being duos, which would be a stupid thing to say, for multiple reasons. And Jack White didn't invent blues rock, he borrowed heavily from Led Zeppelin, who borrowed from older blues artists. You know I was talking _specifically_ about The Black Keys and The White Stripes, yet you couldn't find one specific song, instead you chose to say they ripped off "their look", which is frankly the stupidest thing you could've said.

All know that Dan kinda coppied White Stripes garage blues aesthetics, but Jack already had done that with Flat Duo Jets and blues artists like Son House. Music is about influence and mr. White should accept it.

One of the annoyances Jack had was that Brothers artwork was red/white/black and used a font almost identical to The White Stripes Elephant album. So with that, and probably a few other things, he felt copied/ripped off. I'm sure if they actually hung out and put egos aside, they would probably be friends.

Alex Hutcherson Nope. Sure, they're both Blues Rock/Rock & Roll duos, but that's where the similarities end. They have not copied, ripped off, or drawn inspiration from Jack White at all. It's evident in their music and sound.
