From an Aussie; you don't get a career that comes as close to what DC did at flyhalf. And the ending of the story; he never got the chance to play in a RWC final until the last game of his international career, then booted a field goal that cemented his team's win. All those years of training and perfection of his skills for that one moment. Not just one of the greatest flyhalfs ever, but possibly the GOAT. A sniper with the boot and master tactician, he was a complete player.

2015 dan carter in the world cup was on a whole another level man, especially in the semi and the final, those two games cemented him being the greatest fly half to ever play the game

Dan Carter is one of the Great All Blacks (GAB). Cleaning their own rooms before leaving is just great. Humility is a general trait in many Kiwis and I'm proud to be one too.

I feel so blessed to have lived through this era. I still miss Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Conrad Smith, Ma Nonu exc. It will be a long time till the AB's win another world cup. This was something truly special!

If you've played the game you'll know what it takes to be an international it's something that words can't say. To be an AB International is pure fantasy, to be the g.o.a.t means you're either an alien, superhuman or Dan Carter as an Englishman I find it so easy to love respect & admire a true legend.

Beaudy went close... But no cigar. Mounga not in DC league. DC a once in a generation player and he came to make Mehrtens and Spencer look ordinary, these two are legends themselves. Thanks for the unreal memories DC, I was in Cardiff to see that back flick pass, out of this world!!!
