@@lisarnful learning ? it is not correct to use the word copy, sure that mentioning joseph zbukvic in his demonstrations would be an act of respect. in this particular case, there is only little difference with a typical zbukvic painting. use the same colors, the same palette, the same composition. same approach and same subjects. the least you can do is remember the master, always ... in each of these demos, like that street scene with wet cars from the other demo. I also learned from Zbukvic, but then I looked for my way, here it still seems to see a studio of zbukvic ...

@@geremiacerriHe should take Alvaro’s advice & find his own ‘clothes’. 😎 For those not familiar, he explains this to mean being urself, make paintings that look like ur own style. He also asks painters a question, do we need another (whatever subject we r considering) ?? If we r going to paint any subject, we had better dig deep & find a new way to do so or dont bother, whats the point? We need to paint more lions & less pussy cats. Im paraphrasing Alvaro Castagnet. Exciting visions of the world from seekers in place of pretty scenes that have been repeated too many times.

Pretty weird to hear him taking like he discovered his own approach. In my view it’s totally cool to copy a style but at least acknowledge it.
