I’ve been trying to get his tone, it’s so tough not to lean to far into throat bass as opposed to subharmonics. It’s weird because they don’t use false chords or fry like other techniques

i would only count down to the Eb1 bc im a stickler about range and the D1 example u used is kind of shaky (he might have a D1 sub thats clean in some video or song that i dont remember so if thats the case just point me to it) but his subs are so clean and the transitions are almost undetectable in his produced music and its like how is this man only 18 and already has like an almost flawless subharmonic register

There’s no way this guy is 19 I kinda wanna know what this guys range was at 17 cuz I’m 17 now and I can go down to an E1, Davide Dalmonte is about half a year older than me and he can go down to a D1, might be deeper than that tho, point being, Dan, you are good at what you do

Not just you. Bizarre that so few people can hear it, isn't it? I commented on another video about it and got shouted down for having a 'wild' opinion. The Dan fans are very extreme.
