Nice reel! Tho some chest notes are actually subharmonic notes using vocal fry, like Sixteen tons. But that's almost what I find most impressive. The sound of his subharmonic singing is almost inseparable.

You can compare the note to a note played musical instrument, scince when you play instruments you know exactly what note you are playing. Also, you can use any tuner (even a mobile app). Tuners are things that show what note is being played/sung. Finally, some people (mainly musicians) have perfect pitch. It's an ability to "remember notes," so you just know what note that is when you hear a sound; however, perfect pitch is pretty rare (~1 in 5000 people have "natural" perfect pitch. But musicians develop it more often; therefore, about 4% of musicians have it)

No he doesn't. He goes 1 octave lower than the lowest range pm most pianos. And I think the highest not I've seen him do is D6

Lowest chest node is lowest held chest note but reached is like sliding into the chest note. The E1 example is the best example

I can't remember which is which, but it's Ring in either Japan or the US and Grudge in the other. FWIU, the US one is a remake of the Japanese one, but they're the same story

In the debate of Tim Foust vs Geoff Castellucci, my personal opinion lies on Geoff because of the fact that his notes are delivered with clarity, and are less growl notes. Not to say that Tim isn't amazing either, but my personal preferences lie with Geoff.

I don't think he's reaching that low, I think the person just exaggerated/misheard a c1 with fry. This man can hit a solid B0, but I don't think he hit a C0, that's a bit of a stretch... right?
