Travis holds the record for post season TD's passing Jerry Rice. Mahomes and Kelce passed Brady and Gronk's post season TD's. There are other such numbers that are not brought up as much. He shows up! He's a character yes, but as a tactical and yet instinctive route runner, he even surpassed some WR's who were great!

Travis Kelce is already the greatest TE ever, producing WR numbers…especially in playoffs. He has already broken or is close to breaking Jerry Rice playoff records, earlier considered unreachable! One of the big reasons (Pat Mahomes being the main reason) how Chiefs won last 2 SBs despite sub-par WRs. 🐐

@@SuperJohn12354 Gronk played with today rules the last 3-4 years and he did well, he's a top 5 TE all time, as is Kelce. Tony G is still the greatest TE from stats and longevity, Kelce from rings and records, Gronk for his rings and high dominance. Unfotunatly for Gronk he got hurt and lost years of playing time that hurts his case for the GOAT TE, and his numbers reached their potential. Sharp is in the top 5 too, coming from the hard nose era he was unstoppable.

Kelce playoff numbers are out of this world. There are only 2 arguments for the single best receiver in Playoff history: Jerry Rice or Travis Kelce. And the better argument is Travis Kelce. Go look at playoff receiving stats for Receptions, TD's, and Yards. Gronk has 4 rings...but he really has 3 rings. In 2014 Gronk didn't play last 8 games of year and the Pats went 8-0 and they got BETTER without Gronk. Not a season Chiefs have had where they would get BETTER without Kelce let alone win the Super Bowl.

TRAVIS Kelce started out last season a little slow, BUT... He missed the first game and then sat out the last game 16 yards short of his 8th 1000 yard season in a row... So in 15 games he had 984 yards... I wouldn't call that an off year, especially with how he dialed it up in the playoffs after sitting out and resting the last game... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats and facts...

Everything you credited to Dan, is factual. Jason _is_ only famous outside of Philly bcuz of Travis & Taylor. He'd be known in Philly without them, but Travis & Taylor made him nationwide & worldwide famous. Also the Kelce podcast is mega popular bcuz of the Swifties, that's an indisputable fact. Jason's a borderline HOF'er if you just go strictly by his stats. He'll get in bcuz they won 2 Superbowls while he was in Philly, but he wasn't a household name until Travis started dating Taylor

Travis Kelce was a high school QB and briefly played QB for Cincy in college. So he has that QB mindset & ability to read defenses. When Mahomes & Travis read the defense and come to the same conclusion on what the defense is giving them, that explains their "telepathy" on getting open. So that skill is certainly teachable to a certain extent, but then again how many physically talented QB prospects fail in the NFL because they can't read the more complicated defenses quickly enough?

I say Kelce is above Gronk in goat conversations because of 2 things. One is that they are the same age but Gronk's been retired or not very productive for a long time now due to injuries. Kelce is still there, so part of being the goat is having a long career and Kelce clearly wins that hands down. The second reason is that Gronk played pretty much his entire career with Tom Brady. But Kelce spent a lot of years with Alex Smith and was producing good numbers before playing with a hall of fame caliber quarterback.
