This song brings back amazing memories of my fiance. She passed away 10/18/2021 from covid. When this song first came out we where in her truck and she started to cry because of the live that we have for each other. How I miss her every second of every day. We will meet again soon Valerie. When I was pregnant with my first daughter, there were times that I wouldn’t feel her kick for awhile. I’d play this song, and she would start kicking. This was my wedding song 4/28/18. My husband was diagnosed with cancer before we met and was told he’d never have kids. Two kids later and a marriage. This song sums it up for us.

We are moving into her grandparents house soon which her grandmother passed away in december and we found out yesterday shes pregnant. UPDATE 2 more weeks and our little bean will finally be here.

I really struggled after i got out of the army and thought no one could ever love me. Low and behold i met my future wife. This video makes me think of my grandma and granddad. They were married for 30 years before my granddad died of lung cancer in 1989. I was born 12 years after his death in 2001. I never knew him. I've only ever known him through the stories my mom and grandma would tell me growing up. Mom was 23 when he passed away. I'm 23 now, and my grandma died five years ago from complications of having a stroke. I was 18 when she died. Five days after I graduated from high school. We miss her so very much. I have my grandma and granddad's wedding photo and his picture from enlisting in the US Army during the Korean War. He built tanks stateside.

The first time I heard this song I was being driven by my then boyfriend, now fiance, to my Nana who had just passed away. Her and my Papa were married for 70 years, and had a huge hand in raising me. 2 years later, my Papa went to join her. When we got engaged the only thing I knew is that this song would be the staple of our wedding. We will be doing our first dance to this in honor of them, and desiring to have a marriage for 70 years that was as beautiful as theirs.

My grandma and grandpa seemed to hate each other when they were together, I'll be honest. But about 4 years after my grandpa died, we rescued my grandma from her abusive son. who stole all her money. On the way home she looked in her purse, which was empty, and look at my mom and said "I couldn't even buy a McDonald's cheese burger Dana" I know she didn't hate my grandpa, because on my grandmas last birthday with us my mom got her a picture of herself and a picture of my grandpa. I'll never forget what she said "He's still as handsome as the day he left me"

My Grandparents lived almost 70 years together. My Mamaw passed before my Papaw and every time I spoke to him after she passed he said OHHHH how I miss my Annie. She passed April 8th 2021 and he passed the last day of September 2022 at the age of 92. He is so happy to be with my Mamaw again.

Anybody else here never experienced love and wish they could experience what this song is about? Never had any luck with any girls in Highschool and when I joined the military I didn’t get any opportunities with training and deployments. I tried to believe God was saving someone for me, but it never happened. You ain’t alone if you’re in the same boat.
