Dan Vasc is a master artist. This is the best rendition of this song I will ever hear. The harmonica is a gift from his father when he was 7; his dad passed in 2017. He's Brazilian (obrigada brasil!) His range, power and vocal toolbox appear limitless. He has over 200 videos out there in many different genres. He takes us on a tour of Heaven with this song. Most of his stuff is secular but for those who wonder about this song he has stated he is Christian. The artist doing the lighting, filming and most of the rest of the production is no other than himself. Like I said. Master artist. Go down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. You won't be sorry.

Dan resides in Brazil; is in his early 30’s; started a few years back with his band called FEARLESS. Has playlists that are familiar tunes (or not). He got me hooked from his singing the best version of Amazing Grace that I have ever heard. ❤

Someone said his dad gave him the harmonica and I watched an interview that Dan said his dad died of cancer and that he was a bit crushed that his dad died before he saw his son successful... it was quite an amazing clip

Dan Vasc (pronounced V+ask) is Brazilian and came out with this at Easter time. I’m 79 and it’s the best rendition I have ever heard. Super nice guy and pretty easy on the eyes too. 😂

Two and a half months in listening to Dan Vasc’s Amazing Grace every single day. It’s my sanctuary from this mad world. I still shiver at the power of “When we’ve been here 10,000 years”, doubt I’ll ever stop. I look for reaction channels where I can gather joy and revisit my initial response. Loved yours! Thank you for the joy, I had to subscribe Jimmy 😊❤. I also love seeing Dan’s channel grow hundreds of thousands in subs since the release of his incomparable rendition. If I were a much, much, much younger woman, it’s quite possible I’d move to Brazil. 😂

June 18, 2023 I found Dan Vasc less than a week ago. I was blown away. I've been watching everything he puts out on KZfaq, which is how he makes a living. Yes, I've been "Vasc"inated! God gave him talent and he has honed it to perfection. I am blessed every time I see this video, which is multiple times every day. His covers are incredible. Pick one, any one. Truly amazing!❤

If you want to hear more phenomenal singing, check out Dan performing An American Trilogy in honor of his father, whose favorite performer (Elvis) sang AAT, one of his favorite songs. Dan performed it approximately 5 days after losing his father, Roberto, to cancer in 2017. The emotion was raw and real. I still don’t know how he got through it. His voice and humility are true gifts from God.

I love how raw & delicate he started the song & with each verse exposing more talent & intensity. Dan Vasc has a God given talent. He sang this song the way it was meant to be sung with such respect, emotion & with a powerful impact. I felt the presence of God. This is the absolute very BEST version of Amazing Grace that I've EVER heard in my ENTIRE life & I'm old (LOL). God bless Dan Vasc for sharing his wonderful talent & this video with the world! He is the opening act for a singer DIMASH KUDAIBERGEN when he comes to Brazil. I thought Dan was Polish. Wasn't a big fan of AMAZING GRACE that was until I heard VASC do it. He has sung quite a few of my favorite.

Dan's name is pronounced "Vask". Music is his passion - especially Power Metal. He says he does not have talent, that he has worked hard at it and it is skill. Dan does his own settings, he has three different cameras and when he does the video he picked the one he likes the most at the time. Except when he has someone else appear in his videos to play the guitar or sing, he does most everything himself. If anyone else does anything, they are noted in his videos. Dan's father always walked around the house playing the harmonica and gave Dean one when he was around 13. He does work out and is very passionate about eating right and working out. I agree that this is the best rendition of Amazing Grace ever!

@@romypie3725 On a recent live chat Dan said he was 7 years old when his Dad gave him the harmonica. However, someone commented he was 11 years old. I could have misheard how old he was but I do know he wasn't 13 years old. It's possible that his Dad gave him something else when he was 13 years old. 🤔

Love me tender HD sung for one of his fans who is terminally ill. Angels on High is amazing .. oh heck they're all incredible! Kiss for a Rose beautiful. He is Brazilian with Italian mother. Speaks 3 or 4 languages. Produces and mixes all his own. Is in metal band Fearless with his brother. No. 1 Amazon artist. Dan doesn't use special effects on his voice; he's had ten years of vocal lessons. He sounds just as amazing when he sings on gaming streams on his own gaming channels and other channels he appears on. As for your workout comment, Dan is totally into fitness. Dan's voice is awesome..as someone who sang in the church choir as a kid and worked as a church secretary, this is by far the best version ever! Take a listen to "Angels We Have Heard on High", "I'll Make a Man Out If You" from Mulan. He's also a nice guy who supports charities. His KZfaq channel is great..you won't be disappointed..

Dan Vasc is a powerful singer. He has changed many lives through his voice. Abba is pleased and I am so comfortable hearing him as I am grieving from a tremendous loss of my husband. I listen several times a day. To me no one compares to Dan. May the Father bless and keep him🙏🏼💙🙏🏼💙

Daniel sang this song the way it was meant to be sung, forever. It is a testimony to the evolution of faith: at the beginning we see the reverent shyness of a recent convert and at the end we see the joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - gratefully throws himself into the Father's arms. Dan is a musical genius - he takes any song he wants and turns it into something better. He becomes the song he sings. He commented that as his faith grew stronger, he began to choose his versions more carefully so that he could bring people only high vibrations of joy, hope, real power and gratitude. Dan is amazing. He shoots & sings each song 3 times then cuts together the video from multiple angles. He mixes the music usually by himself, sometime doing electronic drums. He does all his background vocals too. Very talented. Enjoy many more of his large video collection - something for everyone

I've watched many different reactions to Dan's performance of this iconic song and you sir, is by far my favorite! I loved your critique and how warm you came across on the screen to Dan's mastery of this song. Of course, I had to subscribe to your channel. I think if I can leave a suggestion for you, for the next reaction to his vocal abilities, would be Jesus Christ Superstar. It's AMAZING!! Thank you for requesting this song! And I'm so happy to see that he actually did react to it. I've spent years requesting this song left and right and no one ever did. Not until Dan released Amazing grace. Then suddenly, reactions started popping up. :D

Teresa Market covered most of the info about Daniel Vasconcelos. however, she missed that Dan is also a composer, arranger and musician. If you check the credits on his Amazing Grace video, you will find that he recorded the accompanying music. As near as I can figure out from things he has said in interviews, besides harmonica, he plays drums, guitar, keyboard and saxaphone.. He claims to be a DIY learning a lot on KZfaq. If you get a chance to catch him guesting on a podcast, he likes to talk and has a great personality. He sings all types of music, but identifies with metal, however he is drug free and no tata.

You are correct on all if that I think. He is an amazing fellow Christian young man who works very hard and is wise beyond his years. I also love to listen to his videos where he is sharing with us various things. He i a a very good role model I believe.

Vasc is short for his real last name, which is spelled out in a couple of his older videos, 9 or 10 years ago. Hispanic name - Vasceloso, or something like that. Beautiful voice! He's so alluring, with his looks also, of course. I just can't seem to stay away. This video has gone viral. His name is gaining recognition fast.

actually the last name Vasconcelos is from an old family name from Portugal dating back to the 12th century. Dan claims to be from Minas Gerais-Brasil and a few cities there have the last name included within that State. It is not surprising, due to the fact that Brasil has the most concentration of Portuguese people in around 5 million.

Dan sings the greatest song ever written the best I've ever heard it, and I have heard maybe 50 to 100 people sing this song, until I heard Dan's version Judy Collins held the top spot for me, she is now in second place. Thanks so much for your reaction, I just liked and subscribed to your channel.

Jimmy....I cannot help but watch difference reviewers cover this song...Yes I am a pentecostal Christian and love this song...and I agree this is the best, most powerful and singularly unique version I have ever heard....Thank you for a thoughtful and I think spot on review.... Some reviews go into the vibrato and intricacies, but I loved your simple, but accurate review. Loved you stopped and commented. well done
