Welcome to the Dan Vasc rabbit hole! Hail VascNation ❤ As a 53yo metal head I have to actually admit that I enjoy his nonmetal songs just as much, if not more. Nessun Dorma by Puccini (opera); Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera; and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. With that said, you can’t go wrong with any of his 200+ covers. He’s just phenomenal!!!

If you're a Witcher fan (and, BTW, they were originally books, before the game and the show), you've got to watch and hear Dan perform Burn Butcher Burn - it's phenomenal. And the Song of the White Wolf is also great, as are the metal and non-metal versions of Priscilla's Song. Welcome to the world of Dan Vasc and the most gorgeous, powerful voice on KZfaq! Dan can (really!) sing anything, in any range and in any style. I hope to see more of Dan on your channel. You're in for an epic journey. P,S, Dan often has collaborators to play guitar or other instruments, but he always gives them credit. If not otherwise noted, Dan does all the music himself, but that might mean that he programmed the backgrounds, played them himself, or purchased them. But they're all his arrangements, and all background vocals are his voice, layered. He even does a "one man choir" version of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, which is mind-boggling - four parts, 24 tracks. Dan also directs and edits his own videos - he's a real one-man outfit. He is great, isn't he?! 😊 I hope you continue with Dan ... he has enough really good to fantastic music to keep you busy for a very long time ... and Vasc Nation will be here for it all! Dan does play multiple instuments, but according to him, not well enough to perform in his videos. He works with independent youtube artists to get the quality of musicianship he wants for his videos ... and, he always credits them in the video itself, the title, and/or in the video discription. Any instumentals or other work on the video not specifically mentioned in those credits is all done by Dan himself. In his newer videos, Dan has started farming out some of the production work and even some of the creative arranging (because now he can afford to and it saves him a lot of time. See My Heart Will Go On, and, Oh Holy Night). Dan can sing low and sultry in his rich baritone voice - Rains of Castamere, Sound of Silence, or even, Gregorian-like chanting - in Fairytale. His high range is even more epic with clean vocals or added distortions - Everdream, Wuthering Heights, Never Enough. I envy you in that you have just been introduced to Dan Vasc, I would lobe to go back and listen to all of his music for the very first time. Dan has a remarkable voice, unbelievable breath control and a wide musical range. Although he is a metal singer, you don't have to be a metalhead to enjoy him. He takes many songs and gives them a metal punch, such as Amazing Grace (the best version of this one ever), I'll Make a Man Out of You (Disney Mulan), the other Witcher songs: Burn Butcher Burn, Song of the White Wolf, Priscilla's Song (metal version). Years ago, Dan wrote music for his band, FEARLESS, that was Tales of Ancient Wisdom (or something like that). Yes, he likes ancient lore type materials, but he is also into power metal, symphonic metal, rock and roll, and just about anything else. He can sing metal, rock and roll, opera, musical theater, and it seems that he could sing anything with or without music! He writes music, arrangements, directs videos of his performances, plays instruments, etc. Welcome to his rabbit hole that is enjoyed by Vasc Nation.
