I'm a die hard Max and JG fan, and I was NOT a fan of this fight for Max, bc he's so damn tough I really didn't wanna see him take a beating like Tony did....... but HOLY 💩 MAX IS THE REALEST BMF!!! Total luck. Max knows it was a body shot. Justin dipped into it and it cost him. Breathing was fkd after that. Speared in both eyes too. I don't think he ever got his shit back together after the broken nose. Didn't even look like him after that. If a normal body shot Justin would have eaten it like nothing and moved on. Then we would've seen a real war like him with Eddie, Dustin, and Fizzy.

I don't know, it was pretty one side is my only thing. Justin pretty much only had the leg kicks. It was a good fight but really the nose break in the first and the KO in the last second were the only notable moments. I think the Leon Edwards head kick is probably a bigger moment, or even the Adesanya KO vs Alex... Idk about fight of the decade but cool for Max, for sure.

Don't know why people even underestimated Max considering his granite chin, footwork, volume, boxing and jiu jitsu. And the somewhat irony in Max doing to Gaethje who is turning 36 this year what Gaethje did to a 36 year old Tony in 2020...

The other ones you mention were pretty one sided too though and this was higher stakes and more rounds.

I was one of the people who was thinking Justin was going to win, but i never counted Max out and always knew it was gonna be competitive. But holy shit, i did not see that coming. I thought i couldnt be a bigger fan of Max and Justin, but after this i have a whole new level of respect for both fighters. They gave us such a good fight. So happy for Max right now. This was one of the most incredible moments I've ever seen.

Please forgive me, i didnt see Power Max having enough to flatten Justin in any round, and i know damn well theyre both talented and capable. Both real ones. Justin didn't have to take this fight and had nothing to gain really. Max knew this and gave Justin 10 seconds to get lucky at the end. Just happened to work out the other way around. Both are savages. I didn't think i could respect either any more than i already did...but I was way wrong.
