First time I heard ufc commentators I couldn't BELIEVE it, they got excited, they were happy, they upped the fighters, they talked about how good they are, they talked about what they were actually doing in the fight. UK commentators never got excited, down played everything, whenever anything good happens they would try to 'balance' it up with a negative comment, always always always went for the underdog an always criticise their champions, always always always talking about how if they dont win this fight their career is over or they're too old or some other time some other place. UFC was a revolution in joyful sports watching.

Well Zuck and Musk would probably not go for punching and mostly do jujutsu and grappling. The problem when fighting at that age is punches to the head.
@onetwo8847
@onetwo8847 Ай бұрын
@@treali "probably" is not a good arguement lol. You have a situation where you have a guy who is in shape, not even 40 and has actually spent some time training MMA and competing in athletic events, Against a guy in his 50s, completely untrained and who looks like he couldn't do 5 pushups. Both fights are freak shows and that's why it's hypocritical to act like one is safe and the other isn't. For every argument you could make about how it's more dangerous for Mike as Jake is trained, you could just as easily make the reverse argument that at least Mike is in shape and has endless experience along with an elite understanding of boxing defense, whilst Zuck could potentially just throw a big overhand with Elon not having a clue how to defend himself. Some of the worst knockouts come when 2 novices fight but one has at least a slight understanding of what he's doing whilst the other has no clue how to protect himself TLDR - not even saying zuck/Elon is worse, but dana acting like one is bad whilst pushing the other, is silly

Really interesting how hearing it from him made me want to know more. Good stuff. Hats off to Lex and the work hes doing and sharing for FREE on KZfaq.

To add to the Forrest Griffin and Stephen Bonner fight. I'm not a Martial Artist at all, but the passion, commitment, and pure love or "no quit" mentality these guys have literally inspires me and makes me love this sport. I'm committed in life and have deep passion for many things, yet these guys fighting gives me deep inspiration and understanding for why these guys do this. 3 round fights weed out the weak. 5 round fights determine who the real champions are. It's so clear that these guys can push through unimaginable pain and still suffer and supercede to win. That was all I needed ro see to be a fan.
