This version of Harry was definitely one of the games biggest highlights. Instead of him being a whiny rich prick like he usually is, he's very chill and charming, and I love that he's a scientist like Peter. They really have a strong chemistry and feel like genuine best friends, plus them both being scientists is a good way of showing how they get along so well

Peter’s story arc with the symbiote is usually compared to someone developing an addiction, but honestly, so does Harry’s. When we see him after he recovers, he’s as happy and energetic as can be. And nothing deters him, kinda like someone on cloud nine. Or maybe even someone who’s high. And when he discovers how to use the suit and that Peter is Spider-Man, he becomes even more so. To the point where he willing risks his life, and he clearly enjoys it. Again, like someone who has constant highs would want to feel. When Peter gets the suit, he’s not necessarily worried at first, but then as time progresses, he becomes more paranoid and worried, and desperately trying to keep himself occupied and distracted from the suit. That reminds me of someone going through withdrawal. And especially after his fight with Peter, he barely even cares about whether or not he’s gonna die, he’s just using it to get the suit back. And when he does, he doesn’t realize what it’s done to him till he does something terrible (Killing Kraven), but by then, he’s already too deep in to get away. By the time he’s freed, he’s pretty much destroyed himself and nearly got his loved ones killed. Hell, you call his coma at the end a type of Rehab. Sorry for chewing your ear off, I just wanted to type it out while it’s still in my head.

1:25 I like how this scene mirrors one later. Where Pete is on edge about MJ’s scream until he realises it’s Harry. Then near the end of the game, we have the same characters in the same location with a completely different context to MJ’s scream.

Seriously, seeing Peter and Harry ride bikes together is a pretty nice little touch on their friendship. Also this gives me Bully flashbacks. Good times.

I am really impressed with Harry in this game, normally a rich person would douse themselves in drugs, alcohol, and other pleasures to distract themselves after losing their mother but instead he devoted his life to making sure that no one else suffers the same fate as his mother.

He killed Kraven and we even could play as him. That's nice.

If you pay attention closely, you’ll notice Harry is really the main character of the last 2 games (not the Mike’s game obviously). Harry being sick is the reason GR-27/ devils breath was created. And now this game with venom.

It’s not everyday you get the best adaptation of two characters in one. That being Harry Osborn and Venom. I really wish this game was longer because I feel Venom needed more screen time. It’s disappointing that Venom didn’t get as much screen time as when he was just Harry.

I don’t know if insomniac did it on purpose or if it was unintentional but I feel like even though Venom took over Harry, Harry still had more control of his own and the symbiotes mind. Now people would be like obviously because Harry as Venom addresses Spider-Man as Peter/Pete but it could be Venom trying to manipulate Pete into thinking it’s Harry and that Pete can trust Venom. The reason why I think Harry had more control over the Symbiotes hold is because Venom never revealed Spider-Mans identity to anyone, even when he was connected to everyone in the city through the Meteorite. Physically, Venom overpowered Harry. But mentally…Harry overpowered Venom.
