This is the most beautiful retrowave song I've ever heard. It fills me with a feeling that I can't even describe, but it reminds me of a time right around the end of the 80s. There's a certain spirit captured in this that is scarcely seen in our world anymore. It's like all the dreams I had as a small child in the 80s are somehow woven into this song. It's so beautiful I could cry.

I imagine a group of friends getting ready to face their last adventure as a whole together. Standing on top of a hill and watching a storm roll in, they'll fight what waits inside, and give it all of their final bits of strength to destroy the evil. They emerge on the other side, worn and torn, but victorious. Their heroic deeds are no longer needed. They now have the freedom to go their separate ways and begin their lives anew, but perhaps fate will draw them together one more time in the years ahead, for their true final battle.

Same thing happened with me in 2019. Since I meet a random girl that I started to like her, she was perfect than the other girls in my class, she brought me a happy feeling when I was bad at school. After the last day of graduation, I saw the last few seconds of her eyes looking at me. And now, I still couldn't find her anywhere, If I could had a cell phone back then I could have gotten her number. But the cell phone was very expensive.

My son Eythen had this song on a playlist labeled "My funeral". This song along with another were last two song he listened to before taking his life. It has been two weeks since he did it and I miss him more each day. It has been really hard to live my new normal without him. Talking with his friends, I learned he would stand up to bullies at school on several occasions to protect others. He even stepped into action and saved a girl's life when she was choking on her sandwich. He never told me how much of a hero he was. I wish I could hold him now and tell everything is going to be ok...we will get through whatever is bothering him. I wish I could tell him how much I love him. R.I.P my beautiful boy Eythen Duran

I was watching a 1973 movie titled Messiah of Evil the other day. Around the 10:39 mark in the film if watching on Prime. The music starts and sounded eerily like Adrift. The movie takes place on the ocean coast of California with the sounds of the ocean before it starts. I wonder if this film was the inspiration for the song. Either way, this song is probably my favorite by DWTD.

I don’t see any meaning in this song personally, but it is beautiful. Since everyone else has something to say though... I believe in life after death. Not only from a spiritual standpoint, but it has been shown through science that nothing can disappear from this world without a trace, it can merely be changed. While we aren’t sure what comes after we pass on (I have seen a lot going for reincarnation though) knowing we won’t cease to exist is comforting. That said, that doesn’t make it any less painful when someone you love dies. My Father died two years ago, and while I am certain he’s in a good place right now, the pain I felt when he left me so suddenly has still not passed. I am afraid of death and don’t want to die. But even then I look forward to the day when I can see him again

@mythicalslugbeam130 Жыл бұрын
Despite me being over 2 years late, I wanna say you can feel safe and assured there is life after death. That's because there is a God. There are many different but similar religions out there that each have their own interpretation, but so far, bare bones protestant Christianity comes the closest in my book after doing research and growing up in that kind of household. I don't support megachurches or anyone who I feel is doing it more for the supporters to get money than for the merit. There's also the overall accuracy of the Christian bible portraying historic events. There was a great flood. There was a mass extinction by meteorites. There was a mass killing of babies in Israel on multiple occasions. There were giants. Those who believed in Christ before Christianity was a thing were crucified during Rome's occupation of today's Palestine and Israel. Those are just the events proven to have happened I can think of off the top of my head. The Christian bible also sends some of the most positive and moral messages about salvation through Christ. He will return to judge the wicked and resurrect all that have died but confessed their wrong doings and loved and entrusted in Him with all their being. Nobody knows the date because God never told a soul. Anyways, aside from all that summed up scripture, facts and stuff, I hope the Lord helps you through the grieving of your late father and that He shows you the way to living free from sin and negativity via salvation.

Its hard for me to handle, but sometimes crying it out is a bether option then taking youre life... i will carry this on but never think of the bad Decision.
