Though he has been a legend, idol of idols, role model of artists, superstar in Kpop over 10 years, lots of people say that he is underrated and deserves more. There are many great dancers and wonderful vocalists in Kpop but he is the only one who is the top dancer and the top vocalist at the same time. (And artistic visual, too) The most amazing fact about him is that whenever he comebacks, he gives us something new not following trends. Taemin’s evolution never ends. You should watch Move and Want. With those performances, he breaks gender barrier and expands the boundary of Kpop. And, of course, Black Rose performance. Taemin is just one of those performers that leaves you speechless every time he steps on stage. He was born to be a performer and that is one of the reason's why he has become known as the Korean Michael Jackson. That is also why, as one of the top two performers in the industry, and why he was made a member of SuperM. Taemin is one of the most popular solo artists in Korea, as well as the youngest member of the legendary Kpop group SHINee. He debuted as a solo artist in 2014 and "Criminal" is part of his 3rd Korean solo album called Never Gonna Dance Again. It is part of a trilogy which starts with his prologue "2 Kids" and continues with "Criminal" which is part of Act 1 of the album. He will release Act 2 next -- we are still waiting to see what the next piece will be. As Taemin said in an interview: "The two acts put together tell a story. ‘2 Kids’ is about growing pains and depicts the story prior to the story in the album. You can think of "2 Kids" as a teaser before the movie called 'Never Gonna Dance Again.' Act 1 shows a new side of me. I think it’ll be something you’ve never seen in K-pop before. But I wanted to give a sense of rebellion with the irony of the title.” i'm not sure if you have seen the MV for "Criminal" or read the English translation of the lyrics, but just so you know, Taemin is not the criminal in the song. He is being held captive by the criminal who is the girl he is singing about. The song is about living in a toxic relationship and being brainwashed by the girl to the point where you are suffering from stockholm syndrome and you have now fallen in love with the person who is inflicting all the pain and suffering on you. Even though you are being abused by that person you can't help but love them and allow them to continue to hurt you, etc. :D Taemin is one of the best dancers in the industry and that is not just a fan's opinion but it's a title given to him by his peers and the industry as a whole.. Taemin's choreography is very much influenced by him. Although he has input in almost everything he does, he has choreographers that come up with the choreography for most of his dances and he then infuses it with his own ideas and style and makes it uniquely his. The way Taemin dances is just the way he moves. His movements are effortless. If you watch Taemin dance a lot, you will see that no matter who choreographs the dance, it will always be very Taemin-like. Many choreographers who have worked with him over the years have said that, with Taemin you can't help but allow him to move in whatever way his body takes him. Taemin is art in every sense of the word. :D Taemin's style of dance can't be defined. As he has said, he has worked his entire career to create a style of dance that is unlike anything in the Kpop industry. And I would argue that that now extends to the entire industry of dance. I think you would also enjoy TEN and WinWin's dance to Billy Eilish's Lovely, they made the choreo themselves. WinWin is trained in traditional Chinese Dance, and TEN I believe had no dance training prior to being a trainee, although he does have a background in gymnastics

I think you should check out either the Live performance of Sherlock by shinee(where they have the white uniforms) or the dance MV Taemin has some really nice spotlights in that super dance focused song. Especially the live! ;)

The only reason Taemin doesn't feel dizzy after doing spin moves it's because he has been doing it since "Sherlock"

I think the reason why Taemin has a strong presence even when he’s alone doing small movements is because you can see the confidence in every single move and you can hear the confidence but not in a cocky way. As in there’s no hesitation, he knows his capability and doesn’t doubt it, which he portrays into his work. He’s also worked very hard, that’s also shown in his work. There’s a part in the choreo where he simply walks. They’re simple steps but they’re so powerful because he’s walking confidently.

Taemin really has a strong presence and aura about him... Other idols have talked about how even behind the scenes when they come across him, he's always so calm and has a very mysterious aura about him! He's had solo concerts in huge Japanese arenas and he really fills up the stage!

Well, he actually asked viewers to give Criminal and his work in general tons of love & support. It's a little sad that his company is not promoting him (nor most of their fellow artists) proper promotions. That's why their MVs have very low views compared to other groups. Yet we all know the great artist he is. I'm so happy to see that more and more people get to know about Taemin and SHINee. They are really talented artists.

Many people below have mentioned to check out his mv and dance practice for Move and I do recommend it too. Also his first solo song - Danger. I don't know if there is a dance practice for it, but the mv itself is amazing and the song is great. As you've already know Taemin is part of the group SHINee (ШАЙНИ), but also in SuperM. They are under SM Entertainment, which is famous with their idols as the best singers, great dancers, artists with a huge stage presence and charisma. So as an SM fan can I suggest you to react to one of the most interesting group in k-pop nowadays, which is NCT? I recommend it because you are into dances and NCT are considered by many as one of the groups with the best dancing skills and really impressive choreographies. They release dance practices to all their mvs and you can check the in one video - mv and dance practice? For example - Superhuman is my fav dance practice of NCT127 or the mv of the song of NCT U - Baby Don't Stop? (NCT127, NCT U, NCT Dreamn and WayV - they are subunits of NCT).This is just a recommendation, I don't want to press you or something. If you want to react - ok, if not - it's also ok, everything is up to you. :) And when you are ready for the best vocals in k-pop 3rd generation, please check EXO. Even they aren't the best dancers in the industry tehy also have some unique practices like Monster, Onsession, The EVE (!!!!!). I recommend first of all one of his biggest success: "Move", and then there is "Want", "Danger", "Thirsty" or "Drip drop". I tried that move at the start, moving my head that fast while looking down, and I need tons of practice hahaha got slightly dizzy just then! But yeah, Taemin is just one of the greatest Kpop dancers. I do love others, but he has something that makes him unique. He and Jimin (he's amazing too actually have a performance together, that is also great. Well, there are several songs from Taemin with also powerful performances (Move, Famous, Danger), but he also has a very beautiful voice when it comes to slow ones (Love, Rise, Already, Soldier). There are many others but those are the ones that come to my mind now. So if you did like him, you might want to check those out. And again, thanks for receiving our suggestions. :D

Little Tip: The only thing actually annoying about people that pause alot is when they mention it 20 Times in the Video. Just pause and say what you want. Everytime you mention that you are pausing it increases the possibility I just skip whatever you have to say till you unpause.

Obviously you could check more of SuperM stuff like Tiger Inside, they have some dance practices or stages videos too. Also I highly recommend to you to react to some SHINee, this is the group in which he debuted in 2008, they are 5 amazing artists highly known because of their vocals (their live singing is perfect, even better than the recorded versions) and their dancing. They were the first kpop group to do hard choreographies for kpop, before them the dancing was more simple and idols were not taking seriously as dancers. They even made the first dance practice video (with their debut song Replay). In terms of dance I recommend Everybody, Lucifer and Sherlock, As you can see you can check A LOT of content for Taemin and his groups! hahaha
