I took jazz dance classes back in the late 80's, which I absolutely loved! It was definitely a workout, but so fun. You really explain these moves very well. I look forward to checking out your other videos.

That's so cool what's your favorite type of songs from the 80s, I'm self taught and I've always enjoyed watching dance but i only just started that's so cool and same I almost pass out after learning a routine

I’ve learned so much as far as skill. The teachers are pros and teach all types of dance from beginner to pro. They've got contemporary too! I think you’ll love it :)

You can also use Chance Dance Company KZfaq Channel. They have lots of warm-ups and a whole set of Ballet Tutorials. I was in the same situation and now because of Aunti Kamal and Chance Dance Company, I can dance amazingly.

I’m not Auti, but I’m a dance teacher and I suggest getting some ballet classes before taking jazz. The technique is similar and much of the terminology is the same, so knowing ballet technique before taking jazz will make you a much better jazz dancer. If that makes sense ☺️

I think there's shoes specially made for jazz dance and as far as I know they're literally called Jazz Shoes, and mostly come in black. I think i saw some on eBay for about £15. They feel kinda like ballet shoes but are lace ups
