WILLIAM et MAEVA sont uniques, j'en vois beaucoup d'autres danser mais WILLIAM et MAEVA semble flotter dans l'air. Je ne me lasse jamais de les voir.

Awesome! William and Maeva are two of my all-time favorites. Nicolas and Melanie, I swear they don't care at all about either physics, but especially gravity.

I've watched this over and over! These kids are great and the band also! I remember back in the 50's, my cousin gave me my 1st dance lesson and a lot of these steps were taught to me. This should be an Olympic sport! They work very hard at what they do. LOVE IT!

My wife and I grew up through this era, and we boogied. no drugs just lots of enthusiasm. Kids of today don' know what they are missing out on. Great clip, thanks.

Wow! Too bad "kids" today don't know how to dance to have fun. But thanks to the Big Band Era world wide, Boogie Woogie will be around for a long time.. Thanks for your upload, thanks that the world has KZfaq. Paul from Spokane Washington, USA!

Dancing the Boogie Woogie is most fun I have when I need to loosing up my joints! At my senior age, it’s getting a little harder to do the cartwheels though! So, this is the guy that showed Liberace how to play the Boogie Woogie!

Joseph Badger --- I'm sure, that to many ears, during that time, this music would've been quite risque...particularly when compared the the more "wholesome" music that preceded it. It would have probably been the equivalent of "grunge rock" today. And One can only surmise about the types of music that will one-day make "grunge" seem wholesome. It's a terrifying thought, to be sure, but I suppose that each of our generations must carry the mantle of our age...with each passing era being "The Good Ol` Days" when compared to an ever-unfolding Present. Take care, and be well, Good Sir!

It must be the most liberating style of music to dance to. I can play the stuff but only imagine dancing like this in my dreams.

suzette9999 I can guarantee you that it is. I miss it every day and it is honestly, a top driving force in my moving back from the coastal regions of Oregon into town again, as opportunity to dance at all, let alone on a near daily basis doesn’t present itself often enough out here to satisfy my craving.
@1996nick24 жыл бұрын
East coast swing and single-time swing are my wheelhouse, and insofar as those are concerned, I agree. I'd love to be able to play also though.

Me too- I watched it and paused it a few times till i worked out how to do it-- it was a real partneship effort-- the girl used her arm strength by gripping her ankles and pulling tight to cause friction between them as she slid down to the floor. It was a daring move for her, if she got it wrong her head would have cracked right into the floor- bravo to her!

Boogie-Woogie and Swing dance if done in top form definitely takes more pure precision, timing, and athleticism than any other type of dance.
