Looking back on this almost ten years later.. it’s clear and evident that this was the best stand battle out of the whole series. YCDT did good but the amount of girls on the floor made it impossible to keep it sharp, overall the lines were a bit sloppy. DD had advantage bc they have lesser girls on the floor, so it’s more clear how sharp and clean their lines were. Also, YCDT struggled with slow stands, it was CLEAR those slow stands were not impressive. With DD you can tell some of the girls were very exhausted and it’s not supposed to show, but overall the bad stunt tower and sloppy lines PLUS the guy going over the DQ line with the death drop cost YCDT this battle.

the way bring it made these stand battles look like they were decently fast and how every stand was maybe 2 minutes or 3 at best, meanwhile they’re really like 5 minutes minimum per stand and there are so many more stands than we were EVER shown in rapid succession. nearly a decade later and this still amazes me how little credit these girls of every team got for just how many of these stands they actually pulled off.

Now the Miami team wasn't bad, but had WAY too many people, that u couldn't see what they were doing and the stunts failed many times...I love DD4L...I am all about clean lines.

I'm here in a 2022 still trynna figure out wtf traci was thinking putting all them dancers on the floor and then in EVERY STAND!!! She would've shook the room if she atleast let them ALL pop out in one stand and left the rest of the battle to her few older girls. But to have all them damn tutus on the floor at once crippled the choreography and overall potential of what they could've did. It made it look worst cause like 10 dancing dolls bought down her whole Army lmaooo

This is a classic “bring it battle”. When you look at YCTD is actually not a bad team they are actually very good. Their problem is they have WAY too many people and tried to do way much extra and it just do NOT work in anyway. Also they are nowhere near as clean as dd4L. And they didn’t have as much integrity within the movement if you ask me like I didn’t believe them. Also Yes they failed stunts and they were very pivotal and important in the battle that’s why it’s a big deal that they failed them. So overall I go with dd4L in this battle now and forever!!!!

I like dancing dolls more but I like ycdt too. That last stand idk. It doesn't seem appropriate. The girls wrapping their legs around the boys and grinding the jumping into their arms with their legs open, that didn't seem right

Goodness these girls have crazy stamina. They dance like 40min straight in these competitions. They're not given enough credit for that. I'm already exhausted and I'm just watching.

DD has grown so much!!! I liked Tamia but looking at this stand battle she should have been in the back. Bc she just looked off and was cutting moves off. Kayla was a good captain but when Camyrn became captain the whole team changed in a good way. I would have loved to see a rematch after Cam became captain.

YCDT, very very sloppy. Just all over the place. The same dance moves over and over too. They are flashy and bouncy giving an Illusion they were better. The Dancing Dolls clearly won this one.

I remember these battles when they aired. There was a LOT OF EDITING which made Miami look better than what they actually were. They were all over the place. I liked the outfits though. Line’s not straight at all, and basically off timing.

YouGlowGirl i thought the SAME THING. BUT when I first saw the FCDT garriveo to Mississippi they took everyone OUT!! THEY were fkn stunningly amazing choreograph. JUST THEIR presence alone was beautiful!!! EVERYTHING. PERFECT! coordination. AND THEY stand with a STRONG postures as soon as they walk in n THE stay in that perfection AMAZING dancing team!! i was blown away. everyone was AND THE DD4L weren't prepared FOR THAT MIAMI team AT ALL!!! THEIR dances n moves costume everything was CRAZYYYCRAZYYY good . But IT'S NOT THE SAME TEAM THEY WE'RE WITH WHEN FIRST CANE N WON BY A LOT!! I s havent seen THE SHOW i N a LONG TIME. These type of stunts are illegal in cheerleading just for reasons like this. Not a good foundation. I knew as soon as they started it was going to fall. Six people spotting in the back and not one of them have their hands up. They don’t know the very basics. They had no business building that stunt. I know this is old but coaches, stop making these kids do stunts you are not qualified to properly teach them. It’s dangerous.

the girl on the ycdt team turning around while she's was doing a leg lift, I don't believe she was doing that to show out. I believe she was doing that to make sure she had room to do her death drop. So she wouldn't fall on anyone

Watching in 2020 and Dancing dolls choreography alone was entirely tooo much for YCDT too handle the dolls were constantly moving and bussing counts even when they transitioned..ycdt was just like .... stalling everything they did they would skip into transitions... the ripples were so slow like this line then that lime now that line and we all gonna go.. like nahh they couldn't handle them girls in this battle
