I'm glad it was pointed out that the Lovejoy squad is not a battle squad but a dance team that dances in from of the school band. I thought they were a good clean team, but they were too conservative to be a battle squad. DD dances hard with many formation changes a lot of technical skills. Lovejoy got their feet wet so I'm sure next time they'll up their game.

the black team just did a buch of ripples the whole time you can tell that they are a dance line for a marching band but going up against the dolls was suicide cuz the dolls dogged them in my opinion but they got some nice ripples though.

Hey guys love the comments and like that we are choosing to agree to disagree. I am Dancing Dolls all day but you have to give it to Lovejoy High for there courage because at first when they realized they had to battle the Dolls the girls were like looking like "so do we have to go against them?". The captain (the Caucasian female) flipped her hair and gave that looked like "we ain't scared" and she walked out on the floor and the girls followed. Now do I think they could have done better stands, yes because their boom was very limited and they started throwing other stands from the round before. All in all they did a great job and I look forward to seeing how they improve in the future.

It doesn't matter about ethnicity in a stand battle 😪 it's all about how you perform and your making your presence known on the floor 😌 The Dancing Dolls of Jackson, Ms are probably the best buckers when it comes to majorette battling, so I didn't expect a dance team such as LoveJoy who dances for a high school band team to come on top in this battle. I do think they have a lot of spunk and attitude which is a start. The LoveJoy captain gave me chills so i was impressed 😏 But nevertheless people will continue to bash this team who really aren't majorette battlers but i give them props for staying in their in not quitting. The Dancing Dolls are a great team and i'm sure when Kayla leave they still will be kicking ass 😱

For those of you saying that the team in black didn't stand a chance because their captain was white and that the captain was messing up, should be ashamed of themselves...she was good enough to win the captain position and she did a good job...color should have NO bearing in this competition whatsoever....the team just happened to run into a buzz saw called the Dancing Dolls!!!!! The Dancing dolls look better overall because its more of them and they have creative transitions, and unique dance moves. The total package. Kayla gives it to them everytime and the rest of the girls follow along to kill it.
