Marie: That is odd to have so many not subscribed. We watch KZfaq on our TV. It took us a while to find the way to like & subscribe on the TV. To comment I have to use my phone. May be it would helpful if you told others where to find the like & subscribe while watching on TV. We love your channel. You all have so much fun & do so much good for your community.

Marie, theres more hole than bucket. Nice to see peregrines, we have them here at Derby cathedral with camera link so we can watch them. My dad had a paraffin powered ( like a tilley lamp) paint stripper with the end, where you adjust the pressure, once you've lit the fumes and the end was exactly like your tube with holes in it.

Aarron found a spark plug exactly the same recently. It`s an 18mm and can be stripped down for cleaning. The square-ish flat blade with the short round tube is the blade from what I call a mattock. This may be a regional name. A medium length straight handle goes i the tube part and it was used for hoeing heavy weeds or for baulking up potatoes.

At 27:11 the blowtorch nozzle could well have been used to preheat an old hot bulb or semi diesel boat engine.

Many of the tools are tools that are lost by narrow boaters. They loose them overboard accidently. I have been surprised by some of the toolboxes that were lost, which could be stolen, then dumped so they did not get caught The thing that looks like part of a pepper pit looks like an electrical nut, but if you pulled it up with the magnet, it is not an insulated wire nut .. confused me too. You did a wonderful job cleaning those coins and to think it was a clump of crud. Do you use electrolysis? It's wonderful and really kind you are giving away those nice boat plaques. What an increasable view of the paragrin falcon and her babies. Thanks so much for your videos and the fun.

9:50- On the hatchet/axe head- you can get some idea of the age by cleaning it up real good and looking at the blade area. If you can see a split or weld like it means its likely from the late 1800's or earlier. They used soft iron for the body and the blade edge was forge welded on. The edge piece was of steel or case hardened material. When the edge wore out, they would reshape the hatchet/axe and weld on another cutting bit. Very common here in the States. Always a good collectable. And you can put a new handle on them and use them too!. 10:07 I think that is part of a very old hoe. Nice vid on the falcons! love the old hoist. Poor quality stainless steel is magnetic.

your minature jellymould is half a toy cap bomb ,theother half had a depressio to hold a cap [in fact as many as possible]] the outside grooves were to hold a elastic band wich held ittogether it could then be dropped [thrown] onto a hard surface for an explosion!!!popular late 1940's early 50's.

Living in Australia , I'd would love to know what is the most interesting thing you have fonnd, secondly the oldest item you guys have found and finally the most valuable item you have found over the years. It would be nice if you could highlight those at the end of an episode one day I'd be very interested in seeing some of those items and I'm sure some of your subscribers would also. Let us know if you do ever highlight them I wouldn't want to miss that episode. Thanks

Just a thought, when you find scrap abandoned by other people, and you know it will ruin it for others who magnet fish and who get their own scrap collected, i wondered if it might be an idea to email that local council, to say you tell everyone via YT to get it collected and thats what always happens to yours and you get rid of their left stuff too..Hopefully it will earn you brownie points and they will know you are decent fishers and your teams trustworthy name will be on file with each council contacted.

@@mariecollinspeakydippers Just for the councils in the "naughty" areas though, you have enough work to do luv...Maybe if a council worker is somewhere taking notes some passers by will say theyve seen you guys (names on the tee shirts ect), getting all your scrap (and left by others) shifted by scrappers. so extra brownie points on top.
