Writing with #Phrygian mode and #Tritone for tonal harmony and melody, in the style of NWOBHM with dark pedal tone, to be played furiously. Pedal tone used for rhythm. Advanced violin, viola, violincello techniques including natural harmonics, glissando, pizzicato, pizzicato chords, string slap, sul ponticello, sul tasto, jete (ricochet). Final Score removes many of the harmonics for simplified performance. Grade 10. Time signature 4/4 and alternating meter (4+3)/4 or 7/4. Score written in #Dorico.

Consider the question of why GDP does not reflect the incredible long-term value of the arts to humanity and to the planet, and instead favors the short-term profit-making of corporations even if it is harmful to both humanity and the ecosystem.

The $1.5 billion project comes with a major catch - 94% of the dorm's single occupancy rooms are in the interior of the building, and have no windows.
A consulting architect on the university's Design Review Committee quit in protest of the project, in a resignation letter obtained by CNN Business and reported by the Santa Barbara Independent.
