the thing is, Soldier boy was losing a 1v1 with homelander. It's only when Butcher and Hughie stepped up, that's when, he was beat. Otherwise, he was 1v2ing both Butcher and Homelander. Same case with stormfront. She was soloing kimiko and starlight till maeve entered the picture. And she's also able to fly away like homelander did in that S3 fight. The radiation is doing jackshit tbh

Don't get me wrong, I think the power levels are still inconsistent as hell. However, I think that's moreso to do with budget and effects limitations. We don't get a good sense of how strong some supes are compared to others because it's usually portrayed as just ambiguously really strong and probably able to go through a brick wall. Homelander and Soldier Boy have it extra bad because of this. However, one instance I can't excuse is when Kimiko is able to effortlessly snap A-Train's leg like a toothpick. This is the same guy who can output enough force with his legs to simply run through a person and survive that same impact with no problem.

I don't think we know if Stormfront can actually utilize her flight in combat as well as Homelander. HL looks can float through the air effortlessly like he has real flight. SF seems more like she's propelling herself with her electricity powers like electromagnetic manipulation. If she has to focus her powers just to fly, and then again separately to attack? I don't think her flight will help her do much here other than flee

And considering he calls humans weak and primitive as a species, it's very easy to tell that those planets and people's he's destroyed weren't pushovers either. And WW fought him pretty well. Omni-Man meanwhile wouldn't even be able to comprehend the shit Steppenwolf can do and has done. He's straight up in a different dimension, literally. He can't hurt him. The DCEU scales so much higher than people want to admit. For example, multiversal is defined by transcending seven spatial dimensions. Steppenwolf easily does that. Everyone from Apokolips does. So this is essentially the Kratos symptom. He looks to be tree level in game, but that's not his actual scaling.
