Fernandez's corner didnt do anything to change strategy. They just left her out there on her own. Never followed by going forward when she did get a shot in, and wasted all kinds of energy with in-place swings while Robertson was already backing up from the first punch. Did not look like an 11-1 record experienced fighter. Hernandez should be looking for a new coach, because she has the heart.

Robertson was very impressive in dominating the fight ,with her combinations . Fernandez had nothing to be ashamed of ,one tough young lady. Excellent fight and was nice to see both fighters showed respect for each other .

Jeff as always absolutely spot on with your comments. The fight went on far too long and the other brave girl was simply outclassed and good on her for trying to fight it out.

Fernandez Is one tough girl. Lotta heart and lotta chin. I would have liked to seen her given the chance to see the end of the round. Its not like she wasnt rocked all through the fight. She never went down. Standing 8 count would have been good. But who knows if she would have gotten a lucky shot in. Great clinical Boxing by Robertson. Hats off to both fighters.

Great fight. No reason to stop the fight with less than two minutes left. Who knows if she would have gotten off a lucky shot. Not likely but really that late in the fight he should have let it play out.

They should have let it go. She was fine. She still had a chance though tiny. On the other hand, Robertson has great punches, reflexes, and speed.

Yes, should have been stopped. Robertson is just too big for Fernandez. Also Fernandez's coaching was conspicuously absent. Her corner didn't give her advice. Keep your gloves up, head lower, don't throw going in too soon, etc. Where were they ???

This fight just shows Robertson she needs to work on power. Reach and speed just gets you points. The cheap crap at the beginning had me rooting for Robertson but these refs riding Robertson's sack had me wishing Fernandez grew a couple inches in arms reach.

Although Robertson only has 1KO on her record, Fernandez should have had a standing 8 count in the 6th round. Glad the ref saw sense in the last round as she took way too much punishment.

Sorry excuse for a Ref who should have stopped it in the 9th to protect Fernandez. These are not Pro fighters. But they are very good so they should be saved for their future.

Fernadez was off target and a bit slower she had no defends for Robetson. if Fernadez had bit more power she stood a bitter chance, with power it's hard to to get respect, however, Roberson power is suspect she should had Fernadez out before the 10th, and Fernadez seems to have a chin.

Lots of things wrong here. Ref should have stopped the bout around the 6th. Fernandez took WAAAY too many head shots. Robertson couldn't put the KO on her so it's about safety. That many head shots are accumulating brain damage.

30 minutes I won't recover. A true waste of time.

Save the game fighter ref . In against a bigger apponent and never quit , save her so she can keep training and fighting . Yos is DEAD GAME, I would like to see her against somebody her own size . Not to take anything away from Tay but she should be grateful to Yos for giving her such a tough fight and IMO not that much holding considering how much she took and fired back after , But look at end when they annouce winner and see the difference in size , looks like different weight class plus the reach thing . Often the smaller fighter is compact power vs range but Tay is just bigger with wide back etc . I give it up for Yos , that girl doesnt know the word quit in any language . Less holding then many mens heavier weight fights that become hug dancing . Tay got all kinds of chances to demonstrate her boxing thanks to Yos , she should send her flowers . Its boxing and fighting and Yos showed up and fought , all you can ask of your apponent . In general , Womens combat sports have evolved .
