Do you need to worry about hitting an artery if you are doing a mesotherapy? The needle is only 4 mm in length I saw most demo the practicianer inject in a grid like pattern so it doesn’t seem to worry about hitting an artery? If you are injecting a mesotherapy solution vs a filler does that mean it is safer? (Less chance of vascular occlusion)

Wow you are amazing, not only your knowledge is to the sky's but how entertaining you make this videos. I couldn't take my eyes off cause of the way you do it , feels like when you are watching a really good movie that you don't want to miss a micro second of it And truly although you are talking about some serious stuff here you make it seem like it's gonna be okay, so peaceful (off course following your recommendations of staying in the safe zone) at Last drawing the arteries to your face , now that was cool! A Bc botox doesn’t apply. You can safely fill temples as long as you know the location and depth of arteries. Please see my video on temple restoration!

staci satterfield 🙏🏼 Cannulas are safer and cause less bruising. But needles are sometimes necessary for better accuracy in certain areas of the face. Hope this helps! Dan

You look so young to be a doc😮😊I have a question about lip injections and vascular occlusions. What arteries are they hitting when it happens and are those arteries superficial? I’ve seen it happen even when doctors aren’t going in the wet dry border.

Sylvanna Mitrevska I’m a Nurse Practitioner! The arteries hit at the inferior and superior labial arteries. They usually run deep in the wet border.

Love your video and knowledge on the facial arteries! I know this video is in reference to facial injections, but what are your thoughts on facial threading with PDO, etc. Do you do these as well? And what would you look out for when doing them?

Hi Andrea- I'm 55 and do my own pdo mono threads. I've used them in my cheeks, lip border, neck and chest. I'm not a nurse or dr. And just speaking from my own experience, they are such a superficially inserted thing that I find it easy.. I've done well over 100 in my neck and face alread. Great for tightening skin and volumizing. Just bought more! Love them! Highly recommend!!

I have no issues with cannulas that are 25g or larger. The larger, the safer! 25g is ideal for me because it’s large enough to not cannulate into an artery, and has a little more precision then the larger 22g. Thank you reaching out! Dan.
