I went to teachers/ coaches who objectively do not sound good at all but I guess I was bought into the marketing etc. Guess what I started to sound like them. Glad I found you as a coach. My voice has never been better!

So many fairly known “teachers” are not particularly good singers and, personally, I think some of them are total asshats. Three come to mind right off the bat. Daniel is a great singer and offers really sound techniques, I think. What do I know, though? 😂

Just want to add that the “voice in your head”, basically defining your tastes without having knowledge yet, can mislead you. For example I preferred the SOUND of an open vowel reinforced falseto to the same pitch by a closed vowel opera singer. My aversion to the “opera sound” in general kept my mind totally closed to what the technique situation actually was. Jack Lavigne admits a similar issue when discussing w Coreli that his larynx would go up to match the sound in his head (our brains follow the path toward the wrong sound basically). And over coming this is hard (or impossible) if nobody corrects you.

Professional reactor!! 🤣🤣 There is sooo much crap in the voice teaching world. Sooo many fakes, rip offs, gurus and general rubbish, some of it just funny, some out right dangerous. Dan is the most straight up, knowledgeable, real voice teacher you will find and he sings his ass off too. My voice was wrecked by an injury and no one could help me properly until I met Dan. I'm singing stuff I could never sing before now.

You need to get a phd in reaction thumbnails before doing reactions though. It’s an expensive exercise bro

The thumbnails are critical. They have to be done correctly. Preferably one with your mouth ajar, eyes wide open and hands to the side of the face in disbelief. Basically the poster for “Home Alone”.
