Been in a few situations…the throttle is the key…know when to throttle up and when to throttle down ..constantly …not always fast..not always slow ..you have to be aware of the waves in front of you as well of the waves behind you …and ..Dats dat 😎

The right tool for the right job = Throttle is your friend...use it. lol I confess, my first attempt at something similar to Haulover was too slow and I am surprised we didn't have fish in the bow. lol Only took once for me to discover the value inherent on having more of a lead foot than less. hehe

Cobia's went 0-3 today. They have to hit the free agent market for better captains.

Some people have wayyy too much money and no boating skills or common sense. Of course, sometimes it fun to stuff the bow a bit on purpose to soak those bow riders, or to take the rough route.

He had a pretty big boat.. but we had to sell it cause every time we went thro haul over we had to go back one time we kept going and we stuffed the bow but a little bit of days later we went with some friends and kept going the waves where medium and I think I saw you that day lol 😂

Did anyone see that the windshield on the Cobia was smashed after it came out of the stuff ? Shattered ! Could have been deadly ?

See, THAT'S how a real legend drives. Carefully. Methodically. With due diligence for the safety of himself and other boaters. He doesn't come flying down the middle, trying to get airborne, and doesn't pull u-turns in front of other sailors. He's a legend. Haulover wins bad idea going down the middle

I know nothing about boats and just stumbled on this page, but what does it take to actually crack a haul on a boat? Some of those slaps don’t look too good.

Simple really, adjust the trim of the outboards and lift the nose. If you don’t know how to do that then you really shouldn’t be playing boats.
