Having followed El-P's entire career from the dirty basements / 1 bdroom apartments in NYC to now doing tracks with the Legendary Black thought is humbling. With that said he merked it! Brought me back to the FanDam days. Not to mentioned him over a DangerMouse production...can't get any better than that.

Bought 2 copies (black & red vinyl) of this yesterday. Don't even have a turntable anymore but that might change. Heard it once and thought it was great. Old school hip hop is alive. Call me crazy but a lot of people might want this on vinyl in 10 years... kind of an instant classic in my opinion. Plus a Doom verse?!

It’s so nice to see sample driven hip hop is creeping outta the underground cuz I’ve heard a few tracks this year (& last year too) that would’ve been bangers in 87-88….I was around then & 80% of the music I listened was hip hop & in the DMV where I grew up hip hop was about as underground as it got….DC’s always been a Go-Go town
