I really miss the stardew valley videos. That's how I first discovered DF and that has always been the best content in my opinion. That game really allowed opportunities for his jokes and sense of humor to really shine

I miss the forager videos... It was the first game he ever seriously tried after stardew, and I came to the channel right as he started migrating away from stardew valley. His gimmic has always been (or at least used to be) that he was completely emotionless and delivered everything in the most dry and deadpan way possible. I'm sure he enjoyed stardew valley, after all he started an entire youtube channel around it. but he never showed it. With forager, you could tell he was actually having fun.

This game is actually pretty easy to cheese. You get huge monetary rewards for merging towers and leveling up. That's why all of a sudden he jumped way ahead in his progress. I had all max level towers by wave 25, and I didn't even do it right.

He just makes a lot of really bad games look slightly enjoyable. Problem with most games he presents is that they're very basic idle/clicker games that bombard you with ads and are not deep in terms of available content. Also many are completely unoriginal with no innovation whatsoever. It's still fun to watch

This game is really easy too. I just tried playing it and got full tier50 x5 towers in just under 1 hour. After some point you can just keep buying towers just from the rewards for levelling up

Certain towers are much better than others. Ex, a wall of level 25 cannons is better than a wall of level 27, due to the triple fire, and 2 level 19 is better than 1 level 20 because the damage doesn't quite double when you upgrade. so unless you want to unlock the new tower, sometimes stick with lower levels.

You should try this game called fish game: by A Shell in the Pit Games. In my opinion it has potential to be the best fish tank keeper game. I love how they make the fish behavior and look like they do in real life epesinaly the Betta fish
