Want to add one note to your turbulence/rotor section, if you're going to fly in canyons - which a few people I fly with greatly enjoy - please understand that it needs to be quite still air to pull that off. Canyons can be quite unforgiving and even the smallest amount of wind can create some very sketchy conditions.

Awesome seeing all of the terrain and city locations i have grown up with, and have seen from the windows of a piper and Cessna, from a glider you will have a blast out here

I love AZ 🎉. Had a friend who lived in Chandler. We jumped at Eloy. Still stuck in central Massachusetts, my buddy lives in New Mexico now, works at the wind tunnel there. Have fun, be safe and watch out for the scorpions

The typical “old west “ Saguaro cacti you see aren’t the problem. It’s the dang Cholla. They’re light yellow/brown, typically low to the ground(under 3 feet tall) and are covered in thousands of spines. Get real familiar with what they look like and what they can do to you. They are more prevalent in the western Arizona desert and California, but one will pop up as far as eastern Texas every once in a while.

Good old DA. That was hella important for the helos I used to forecast for.

Just imagine in the summertime when its 115 degrees...the density alitude can be 7000-8000ft or so .....But AZ can offer some of the best flying sceneries in the nation..Welcome to AZ ..👍

I found that a slightly sloppy layout prevents lockout. If it comes up too even and perfect it more likely to lock. If it comes up in chaos each part of the wing has a change to catch good air

I live in az and wrecked a quad down a cliff. I hopped off and slid down a mountain on my knees. My inner thighs had cactus needles just everywhere you don't want them. I had to sit on the toilet and plucked hundreds of needles out of me. I'd get random needles coming out 6 to 9 months later.

Hey Tucker.. the superstition wilderness is one of my family's favorites... It's awesome to see it from your p.o.v.... I highly recommend the area near Humbolt Mt just about 40 mi north of Greater PHX.. It would provide you with views of the entire Verde River drainage, Horseshoe and Bartlett Lakes and the Sheep's Crossing bridge a few miles north.... Hope u come to AZ more often🤙. Stay safe !

If you aren't already doing so, you should pack a comb with you as you fly here in AZ. If you encounter cholla cactus, you can slide the comb between your skin or clothes and the cactus to pull it off you. I always take a comb on hikes here in Tucson.

Come down to Tucson we have a lot less cacti. LOL.

I'm from Arkansas and I don't get to fly that much so watching your video's helps to keep me entertained and keeps me wanting to fly so keep up the good work , too was wondering is the air in Arizona better most of the year than any place else? Thanks

you should visit prescott. 5000 feet, so not got for paramotoring but great scenery. I take flight lessons and when I'm in phoenix it feels so smooth to me lol. prescott turbulence is pretty bad.

Are you allowed to paramotor on places like the Barry Goldwater range (on weekends), or the KOFA, out in western AZ? The military range might be illegal, but the terrain is something I would love to see. Same for places like the Kofa and a few other ranges like the Eagletails and Estrellas, as well as some Sky Islands.
