That purple or blue color on the exhaust pipe comes from running to rich leaving the choke on will cause that does not come from heat

The manufacturer of the exhaust probably are using thicker material to address the cracking. That's probably why its not turning purple colors due to it not getting too hot. The yellow straw color is a good thing as opposed to purple, as a welder the ideal color of the heat affected zone from welding should be that golden straw color not purple. Depending if its stainless or titanium or different series of metal may change. Yellow your golden 👌 , purple your a scoshe hot 🔥.

Hey man, the reason people get the purple and blue colors is temperature. They may be running too rich? Maybe get you a infrared thermometer from Harbor freight and check your temperature?
