I know it's hard not compare yourself to other girls. We all do it sometimes. We all see things that other people have, and want those things. Even the girl you think is the prettiest girl in the world, wants a physical trait somebody else has. Lauren and Lisa are beautiful. Dani is just as beautiful, just not in the same way. Just like different types of flowers are beautiful to different people. You're all a bunch of beautiful flowers basically.

i always thought Dani was beautiful since she was little. shes got such unique features and shes gorgeous. but i totally get that feeling of, even though shes pretty, wanting to be a “different” pretty.

I literally started crying because I related to everything she said and it's like a new door that has opened and I've learnt something about myself. I also cried because they pour they heart and soul into their music so we don't feel alone but they're not going through the best of times. I wish I could hug them all 💕

She's still miles ahead of me because she's 17 and doesn't think she's ugly and doesn't think she needs to do it because she loves her personality and yadi yada. I think I'm hideous. I WANT to like my personality but nobody else likes it and I'm literally 10 years older than her. You're doing fine, Dani girl. I hope no one calls you ugly and no one tells you you're too much because it ruins a person. You're doing great. (But I totally understand how you feel, on an even deeper level.)

I can agree to Dani so much. My sisters are beautiful and I’ve always wanted to be like them. In middle school, I became very depressed and suicidal because people bullied me. I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror and if I did, I would cry. It’s been a couple years since then, and I’m slowly learning to love myself for who I am. To anyone who feels the same way I do, I’m here for you. I can relate to you. I know how horrible it feels and how much effort you put into the way you look to the point where you don’t even feel yourself. I know how it feels to try so hard to look like those beautiful girls you see online and still never be satisfied. I want you to know that so many people are going through that too, and that you’re beautiful. You’re not alone. One day, you will love yourself. It could be tomorrow, it could be in a week, a month, a year, or a decade. However long it takes, I just wan you to know that you’re beautiful :)

It’s funny because I always wish I could be more lighter and it’s funny that as humans we can never have it all everyone wants to be someone they aren’t and different standards we as humans create for ourselves

So I have 3 older sisters and 1 younger sister, we all sing and people always say how pretty we are and stuff but i’d always compare myself to them, still do, I always wonder who people think is prettiest and who people think is the most talented

Probably Dani won't see my comment, but anyways I want to post it. My perfect type of a girl has dark hair and green or blue eyes, which is kind of similiar to her. But that's not what I want to say. What I really want to say and show with this, is that everybody has her/his ideal types of personality or looks and it's normal. And it's good, you'll always have a goal that you want to reach. But the process of going through is more important than the goal. Reaching the perfection is unreal and especially when it's about the looks, you don't even need to reach them. I can change my haircolour and wear green/blue lenses, but that will just not be me, because how nature made me is the way I am. That's the real me. I need to improve too, I know, because everyone has his/her fears to overcome and things that they CAN go through, but changing yourself to a better one doesn't mean changing your whole self.

I do that too. I grew up with 3 older brothers and 1 younger brother. So I'm loud and out there but on the inside I'm insecure and sad. I compare myself to girls everyday. After I found cimorelli I compared myself to all of them. Same as dani I compare myself to Lauren. It's not okay but I hate myself. I don't believe people when they say I'm not ugly blah blah blah.
