Danica is soooo hot! I admit though that I am disappointed by her performance in what is now her third or fourth season. In her defense though, I've noticed that when she runs well into the Top 10, someone always takes her out, which bothers me a lot. She's a very capable driver, and although her usual finish is around 20th, does that mean she's the worst driver on the track, like a lot of guys are saying here? If she's the worst with finishes like that, what are the guys who finish behind her? According to the hater's logic, the ones that finish behind her souldn't even be allowed to drive. C'mon people, give the girl a break! She's good for NASCAR, and always gives me something to look forward to when the camera steps in front of her.

Elliot S, your ignorance is of titanic proportions. Indy Car series, 7 times on the podium, 63 top 10's, and she led 124 laps. NASCAR, 2013 Daytona 500 pole winner @196.43 mph. She led several laps, was in the top 5 until the last 3 laps and she finished 8th. 17 top 10's and she led 133 laps in NASCAR. Guaranteed that she could outdrive/outrace you anytime/anywhere. Danica Patrick also became the most successful female race car driver in auto racing history.

This is why fans have left NASCAR in droves... the media needs tabloid headlines and gossip to sell their airtime, but NASCAR needs competition between teams, manufacturers, & on track situations. To me media and NASCAR have diametrically opposed business goals and consequently they loose and so do fans!

@@Dakahrii NOT completive in the Indy Cars series? 7 times on the podium which included one win. 63 top tens and she led 124 laps. FYI, fuel management is a big factor in Indy Cars and all open-wheel motorsports racing. NASCAR, she won the 2013 Daytona 500 pole at 196.43 mph, led several laps, in top 5 until the last 3 laps. Her spotter screwed up and she finished 8th. 17 top 10's, and she led 133 laps. She was better than the previous 118 female NASCAR drivers since 1949 and none better since her either. I bet that you don't know why females have always struggled I NASCAR and that still hasn't changed. Given an even playing field, she proved, more than once, that she could compete with the best of the male drivers. No doubt that she could outdrive/outrace you anytime/anywhere. Despite being only 5'1" tall and weighed only 100 pounds, she had better physical endurance than many male drivers.
