BIO: 4-Term Congresswoman and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is a veteran with three
deployments to war zones in the Middle East and Africa. She has served in uniform more than
21 years, is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve commanding the 440th Civil
Affairs Battalion, and leads her non-profit organization “We Must Protect.”
Tulsi first served in elected office in the Hawaii State House of Representatives when she was
21 years old. Due to the attacks on 9/11, she enlisted in the Army National Guard. In 2004, she
gave up an easy re-election campaign and volunteered to deploy to Iraq with the 29th Brigade
Combat Team where she served in a medical unit.
After returning home in 2006, Tulsi worked in the U.S. Senate as a legislative aide to the late
Senator Danny Akaka, who was Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee. She then
volunteered for a second Middle East deployment as a Platoon Leader.
Having experienced firsthand the true cost of war, Tulsi ran for United States Congress at age
31, vowing to honor the lives and sacrifice of her brothers and sisters in uniform. She prevailed
in a difficult election and went on to serve in Congress for eight years as a member of the
Armed Services, Homeland Security, and Foreign Affairs Committees. Foregoing a run for reelection
to Congress in 2020, she ran for president in the Democratic Party.
In October 2022, Tulsi announced she was leaving the Democrat Party. She puts country before
party and approaches every issue, domestic and foreign, based on ensuring the safety, security,
and freedom of the American people.
Tulsi Gabbard’s first book, For Love of Country: Leave the Democrat Party Behind, will be
released in April 2024.

Tulsi Gabbard articulates the most pressing problems that our nation faces in an intelligent, clear and concise manner. She also provides alternative and workable solutions for said problems. I see her as being sincere, genuine, earnest and competent. And I appreciate her immensely in this time of broken promises and faded dreams. Godspeed in your stated endeavors, Tulsi. And thanks, Danica, for your insightful questions and comments. You are also one impressive person.

You are a fool. This woman is a socialist. She has proven that on multiple occasions. The fact that she is now saying what you want to hear doesn't change that. She is a politician, and she will tell whatever lie she needs to, to remake the US in a socialist light.

I absolutely agree that whatever our political choice might be, as humans, there is a practical need to unite around basic values. And founding documents ?? Its time to refresh & upgrade the founding documents to encompass our evolution towards greater love for what is sacred and to embrace the concept that good debates lead to peace not the monster money making war machine wielded by govts & corporates lol.

Amazing woman, I went through a similar awakening from being more on one side then the other, until I started thinking and educating myself on both sides and finding they both are there to basically serve the same evil. Control over people, only God truth will help you see through the evil world. Let God guide you in life. Everyday. And you will easily see through the evil. And not be tricked anymore.

Thank you Danica not only for this but just for you and your refreshing outlook and the belief in yourself and that's what everyone should do believe in themselves. On a note related to this incredible interview, I sent Tulsi a message as well, and was as follows: Hi Tulsi, my name is Ray G. Canada, I have a? First and foremost, thank you for trying to educate people, secondly, didn't our forefathers foresee the implications of today with having lifetime government officials both nationally and locally and put into the Constitution provisions to stop such lifetime terms, I'll paraphrase, it's government officials where to be elected for a finite period and then return to regular life so as not to lose touch with the constituencies. And yes I love my country, however my government is a whole different conversation. Respectfully, Ray G. Canada

What if the parties that received the money, were forced to distribute the money equally amongst the congressman of those parties. That way it can go towards a party, but also puts the money into congress’s hands so they are not held hostage by their party? This would also teach them some financial responsibility because they would all receive the same amount of funding and one congressman couldn’t be favored over the other one. Obviously there are other ways for them to receive money, but I think this could be a good start and help free up some of the congressman who are wanting to vote on what they think is best, rather than what their party wants them to.

Freedom has a price Always it is high Sometimes a man must give all he can Sometimes a man must die And give away all his tomorrows For those of another day Who'll never understand the sorrow And the price someone had to pay. Lex DeAzavedo and Doug Stewart, Threads of Glory, 1976 celebrating 200 years of freedom. We are approaching 250 years as a nation. All that is changed for Americans who cherish freedom is that women in uniform face harms way as well. But insane Democrats hate America. Tulsi is a wonderful example of a person who gets this. Danica Patrick is a woman that knows gender breeds no privilege in real competition. I love them both for who they were and matured to become.

I'm still hearing "fear" speech in this conversation. I appreciate exposing the truth in general but I didn't hear any truth about how you both feel about the alternative to Biden. I feel your hearts and your concerns about freedom being the goal here and it "appears" that Trump is more about free speech but if I were to ask you both if Trump was a teacher in a school 5 days a week 7 hours a day would you have your child sit in his classroom! We seem to have a higher ideal for teachers than our politicians. Our children are learning from what they are hearing in the political landscape. We are still responsible for who the leader is at this time on our planet. Yes I would like to see an Independent "win" so that both parties go back to the table and actually consider the people once again. People are afraid to vote Independent because they think they have a hope in h#$#!! I believe if an independent poll went out and people in the US knew without a shadow of a doubt that their vote counted I'm sure the two leaders of both parties would not be the next president. If only the people trusted each other to do what's best for their own children we would see a shift. We think the worst about each other...trust seems to be what's missing. We have fallen out of love for our neighbour. I wish I heard Tulsi say something about the abhorrent ideas proposed on both sides and I wish I didn't see that she is holding back that opinion to not alienate a whole other party and their people. It's still not the fullness of truth I'm hearing. I do love the idea of debate and hearing everyone but at least don't hold back because of the climate or you are playing the same game! Thanks for the conversation.
