DJ needs more confidence in himself. You can even tell by the way he shrugs his shoulders inward and tucks his knees in while Eli sits straight up and wide legged. He needs to just let loose. It's when he has played his best. Hope the best for him.

Come on, Danny!! Sports Science showed how Drew Brees passes contained an ideal amount of wobble with the spiral to make a more catchable ball. Even if Danny didn’t know that, he needs to humble himself and learn/defer to Eli as much as he can.

As Eli said, if you know your receivers you can actually throw the ball to spot, even if the receiver is covered before that, relying and trusting the player will be there for the catch. Perhaps Jones has to work on that ? just a theory

I think Daboll messed up last year. Team was NOT ready to play in Sept. only one drive with your starters in preseasons vs the worst team in the league?! plus all the teams in the playoffs win in the trenches. Giants have one guy on each side of the ball.. AT and Dex … that’s it. DJ got lit up like 50x’s per game! I have to assume that messes with a QBs head.

Agree .. I’m not a big Daboll fan .. I really think he messed up Jones confidence this year .. Jones was not the same after the first game of the year vs Cowboys .. The way daboll left him in the whole game to get pounded when they were losing 40-0 was extremely odd and it looked very much like he was trying to punish him.. you would never find another coach leaving his starting QB in to get pounded like that ESPECIALLY after just signing a huge contract . Something was really off with dabolls thinking
