@@zeNUKEify Well, he's playing while livestreaming, while teaching, while bantering with his chat, while deliberately simplifying his playing style so his audience can understand what is happening and sometimes deliberately choosing suboptimal moves for educational purposes. So he's actually kind of playing with both eyes closed, one hand tied behind his back while hopping on one foot and singing the main tune of Pirates of Penzance in his head. So maybe against the 1700s he opts to open one eye....

I think it was in this one, someone asked "what advice would you give your opponent to improve?", and I thought that was a great question for these videos. If you also included that at the end of matches, I think it'd be very instructive. This is an awesome series and thank you for doing it.

@@djonskimu1148 - he should do speed runs with specific openings. Like with white he only plays London, and black only plays Sicilian. Or even some gambits. Doesn't have to get to 3k, but even up to 2k would help most ppl. I really want to see him do more d4 openings

The problem with the graph is that it tries to visualize three dimensions (piece quantity, kingside weaknesses and probability of succes) in a two-dimensional space of representation. He needs to draw a nice multivariable gradient.

I have two questions. In "Modern views", Réti says Caro-Kann's 3.Nc3 dxe4 4.Nxe4 Nf6 5.Nxf6 gxf6 is completely equal. 1) Why did they think that position was equal? 2) Why we do not think that position is equal nowadays?
