It's so true about Seattle. Back in 97 in a magazine I read that Seattle is known for capacino,grunge and heroin. I was living in Seattle when Layne passed away.

I always found it odd how certain drugs will only affect certain areas. Look at Seattle in this video for instance. Heroin took over Seattle at the same time cocaine took over everywhere else in one form or another.

I’m from Oregon and I agree. Cocaine took over Salem. I had a cousin who used to do it. I went with him to NA/AA and was shocked to see how many people were ex cocaine users.

@sstaners1234 yeah but do you see what I mean? Even then, that's one area that is relatively small in comparison to places like Florida and California where cocaine in any of its forms took over the entire state. NYC was pretty much the heroine capital of the east coast until the late 90's when cocaine took over for some reason even though NYC and California have always been basically a mix of all drugs. I didn't see opiates or opioids take over everywhere until the big pharma pill epidemic in the 2000's. Meth is another one. You might hear of a meth bust in the NYC area once in a blue moon bit you'll never find anyone who uses it. Now go to the south or the middle of our country or the south west and it's everywhere. Like I said, I always found that odd how certain drugs just take hold in certain areas. Hawaii is another area that's huge on meth and that always surprised me because they're living in paradise, a place where even if you're homeless which no one wants to be of course, you have great weather year round, it's legal to sleep on the beaches and you can basically live off the land up in the mountains. The only problem I can see in Hawaii is the cost of everything which makes me question even more the use of any drugs out there. I can understand to an extent people being depressed and using heroin in Seattle or anywhere in Washington do to it's dreary climate and cocaine being used in LA or Miami which have always been party towns but meth above all other drugs never made any sense to me when I look at the people using it and where they're using it. I can understand bikers using it when they're making that cross country trip to North Dakota or to any cross country bike rally because that's basically the group and use it was created for. I don't condone any of it but I can understand some of it.

@@LarryBird_ Uh yeah, why don't you look into it before you tell anyone to stfu. The Hells Angels, The mongols, The Pagans are famous for using it for that you fool. There's literally hundreds of videos and documentaries proving this. I mean real bikers use it for that, maybe you're one of those posers who only rides crotch rockets. Tons of investigations, bikers admitting to it and tons of drug busts involving bikers and meth but I don't know what I'm talking about?

@@LarryBird_ Truckers used to use amphetamines called cross tops that were legal at one point and sold in gas stations to stay awake on long hauls but I guess I'm making that up too. You know absolutely nothing.

Love your videos bro. I remember seeing something about this and to this day I can’t understand why people do heroin. I seen Hastings Street in Vancouver and how people act on it. It’s not a good drug.
