Hi! Aw thank you! I personally haven't had blackheads, so I can't say for sure how it can help with that. I believe it helps the most with active blemishes, redness and inflammation. I don't think it would help with things like blackheads or sebaceous filaments. I think the best ways to treat blackheads is with exfoliants such as AHAs or retinoids.

The company is more transparent about the mask's irradiance (how powerful the mask is) and has more clinical research vs. Higher Dose which doesn't really have much technical info or studies behind their mask. Omnilux also has a 2 year warranty vs. Higher Dose's 1 year. I'm a skincare enthusiast, so I think it'll be worth the investment. Fingers crossed! Anyways, thanks for introducing me to the brand! If you're working on healing acne, the Omnilux Clear is likely going to work better but if you want to give the skin a glow, the Higher DOSE red light face mask would be the one to go for.

Hi! Because it's a combination, you automatically use both so I didn't use just one. It doesn't come with a setting to choose one color light at a time. So these results came from the combination of both red and blue light. I hope that helps clarify! ☺️

What do you mean by black spots? I've never heard of anything like that happening as a result of using blue and red light therapy. Are you sure the mask is the cause and it's not something else that you're using?

Hi! I don't use it consistently anymore just because my skin is clear now but it can definitely be a good addition to a skincare routine for those dealing with acne. Something to use a few times a week to help calm inflammation. Not a necessity but a cool product and hopefully the before and after pictures I showed in the video can give you an idea of how it works. ☺️ Though for anyone dealing with severe acne, they don't recommend to use it. But also, for those with severe acne, it's super helpful to find the root cause of the so you can treat it internally. Check out my "Acne Journey Series" if you want some acne advice and want to know how I was able to clear my skin.

It's meant for acne but they say not to use it on really severe acne.

It takes time to see more obvious results but hey, if you don't think it's worked for you, I don't blame you for wanting to return it. When it comes to acne though, often times, light therapy isn't enough to treat it. At least in my experience, a skincare treatment like this isn't a necessity but it can be helpful to incorporate into a skincare routine. I had to actually balance my body such as my mineral levels, etc in order to heal my skin. Light therapy alone wouldn't be the solution but for someone who just gets a breakout here and there and doesn't get acne super often or have more severe acne, light therapy could be enough to help on it's own. But also, everybody's skin is different so it may not work for everyone!

@@DaniSmith405 yes i only have acne in jaw line after trying a oil cleasing , I think I didint tacke it correctly, I’m been eating clean as possible and sleeping more and being more persistent with face cleasing special my using products that don’t Streep to much my oils and using a deeper mosturizer . Almost don’t have acne anymore. I notice if I eat sugar and don’t sleep so much and use harsh products I get worse acne 🙃, plus I have been doing ginger shots twice a day and oregano oil with coconut oild recommended by my naturopath along with specific vitamins that I’m low

@@DaniSmith405 I just not shore if for acne it’s worth it , this mask it’s to big for my face, I have to being laid down and grabbing it so I can use it , it’s not pratic at all , and for marks etc I prefer just to go and use aha and others because it worked for me in the past

It's definitely not a necessity, and this specific mask isn't meant to help with dark spots and is only supposed to help with mild acne, so it's definitely not something anybody necessarily needs. I think people super into skincare, though, might enjoy a mask like this! I get what you mean about the size of face masks. I've never tried a light therapy mask that fits me perfectly but I still like using them for their benefits. ☺️

I noticed a difference but hey that's just my opinion. I definitely had breakouts before I started using it but didn't after using it for a month. So I think it helped a bit! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Definitely could have been my diet, etc as well that helped to heal the breakouts. I'd say it's not a necessity but still a cool device and can definitely help a little bit.
