Banana oatmeal pancakes are a healthy, satisfying, family-friendly breakfast. This recipe is gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and absolutely delicious. An easy to make pancake recipe made with real, simple ingredients!
This is a great recipe to add to your weekend meal prep. I'll show you how to freeze and reheat your pancakes so you can enjoy them on the weekend or a busy weekday morning.

BANANA OATMEAL PANCAKE RECIPE
2 ripe bananas (about 10 ounces)
1 cup egg whites or 2 eggs
1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of kosher salt
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine banana, egg whites, oatmeal, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in the blender and blend until you have a nice thick batter.
Stir in walnuts or any other add-ins you like. Blueberries, pecans, and chocolate chips are some of my other favorites.
Heat a large non-stick skillet over a medium heat and lightly coat with coconut oil.
Pour pancake batter in the pan to form small-medium sized pancakes. Cook for two minutes or until small bubbles begin to form on the top. Flip and cook for another two minutes or until golden brown and set through.
Repeat until you have used all the batter. You should end up with 9 pancakes.
Serve with your favorite pancake toppings and enjoy!
NOTES
*If you want to make these banana oatmeal pancakes vegan, swap the egg whites for 2 chia eggs.
**I love adding walnuts to this recipe, but pecans, blueberries, apples, chocolate chips and/or chopped peaches would also be delicious.

Tip: if you don’t want the chunky texture, blend the oats by themselves first to turn them into a flour. They turn out much more “pancake” like. Great Recipe by the way!

The liquid egg whites definitely work better than using whole eggs (batter comes out really thick). For those who go with whole eggs, I highly recommend adding in a splash of almond/soy/oat milk (1/4 cup). Thank you for the great recipe Dani!

Thank you so much for this. I have experimented with different meal plans and what works best for my weight loss is a big breakfast, medium sized lunch and smaller supper with a snack before bed. I have just made these and they are amazing! I used to make the basic banana and egg pancakes a lot but these make filling pancakes which retain shape, stack well and provides loads of energy! I added raisins and blueberries to the batter. My 1 year old, husband and I just enjoyed these with peanut butter, chopped nuts and cream cheese on top with a drizzle of maple! thank you! love your recipes!

Omg thank you so much for these! I regularly make waffles and pancakes and sometimes it just gets Monday… Breaking them up with this banana/oat flavored with NO sugar is so enjoyable! I doubled the recipe & made them vegan, added a splash of vanilla but no cinnamon and I love them 😁

This is also a great small meal before or after a workout. Thank you! I work with kids, and since school starts soon, I’m making a list of healthy make ahead meals that I could store in the fridge for myself. This will be my breakfast for a while. This recipe is so amazing! The pancakes are incredibly tasty and easy to make, i love to make them when i have some free time at the morning and then freeze the ones i didn’t eat for whenever i’m in a hurry and craving pancakes. i love adding for toppings peanut butter, banana slices and coconut shreds. i adore having them with a nice cup of coffee, delicious breakfast.

I just made these & they were soo good! Nice and moist! I didn’t even have to go grocery shopping, I already had all the ingredients. I used whole eggs instead of egg whites, I also found it easier to make smaller pancakes as they were easier to flip.

Made them and eating them as we speak. They are great! I topped it off with some frozen blueberries which i put in a pan with lid and a splash of water. Heated them up and crushed them some with a fork. Poured them over the pancakes. Amazing!

I’ve never left a comment before but these were just so good! I love eating pancakes and these are a delicious healthy way of eating them 😋 I added blueberries and I loved the tartness it brought to the pancakes and a little bit of almond butter spread

Delicious 😋 i made them this morning and they were sooo easy and good. I cut the recipe in half to make one portion for myself and it was perfect. I ate it with cut up strawberries and bananas and some coffee! Perfect! ❤️👍🏽👏🏽🎉

Hello! Have you used eggs? If so, did you use 2 as the video mentions or 4 as the description mentions?

@@leakhou4267 I used 4 as the description mentioned. I went to her blog and someone asked her about that discrepancy, she replied that the correct amount was 4.

I made these this morning! With vegan chia eggs but I used whole chia cause I didn’t have ground but it worked fine in my opinion. Thanks for the recipe!

I am so excited to try this recipe with my kids! I’ve had thicker oats in the pantry for a while, wondering how to use them so my kids will eat them (they love oatmeal but prefer the consistency of quick oats). I’m going to try in our waffle maker too. Thanks! 😀

Just made these with added blueberries into the mix and topped off with strawberries and honey 😍 literally my favourite breakfast from now on 🤤🥞 this recipe definitely help my sweet tooth out with a healthy alternative breakfast 💞

I make these all the time but always add almond milk as she said and cinnamon powder nutmeg and Vanilla essence, some flaxseed, sometimes I add pb powder

Worked very well, made them today, vegan version with gluten free oats and was very pleased how they turned out. Will definitely redo them very soon ❤️

How many grams of oat did you use bcs. I haven't got any cups like that. Please answer ☺

Melisa Senem Şener I used cups but you can use a conversion calculator. 1 cup of oats turns out to be about 90 grams

I made these as written with walnuts, 2 whole eggs, plus I added in 3 tablespoons of PB2. I topped with chopped banana and they were delicious and filling. Thank you for the great recipe! 😊
