Two of the most talented singer/songwriters of the last 100 years doing a great rendition of a fabulous song written by one of them. Honest, earthy, heartful and well executed. Never have I been so touched by a Willie song before. My mom died in 2016 and she truly was Willie’s biggest fan. I heard more Willie music as a child than anyone I bet. I never appreciated it until I lost my beautiful mother and sat and listened to all of his albums she left for me. My mom lived a “hard life” as some may say, but I know she loved me and lord how she loved her Willie!! I wish I could go back in time and listen with her and appreciate and love it the way she did.
