@@shounakchatterjee1823 He just explained that in the video. When you say, "to be honest with you", You make an assertion that you were not being honest this whole time. That hurts your credibility.

Decided to give D2D a shot today. Took 3 hours to get ny very first sale on my very first day! $200 for washing the front exterior windows of the client’s home. Took me 40 minutes to get it done. The amazing thing is that just before knocking on that door, I was just about ready to give up after about 40 no’s. Lesson learned today: Never give up! But prepare yourself with do’s and donts for a much better experience.

The same way is Robert Kyiosaki doing money with his financial courses. Nothing wrong here, this just prove that he is a real salesman. Only 1% that attend this kind of classes will eventually get to do profit, you have to keep that in mind. What Dan Lok is doing requires a great deal of dedication, discipline and work . Years of sales experience in a few minutes. Great video. I always ask the people in our team to listen to themselves when they talk, truly listen. You will see you use most of those words. When you start listening you start realizing you are doing it, and that will be the first step to get out of this habit of bad words. One more word that I will add is BUT, it should never be part of your vocabulary how many of you agree with this?

@Rob Wilton Considering how amateurish MOST people are in my industry, it's just ONE way for me to stand out and show that people can inherently TRUST what I tell them. Life insurance is a contract of adhesion. Yes, it's serious. How serious? That depends on how large the number is on the contract. I think that when people buy $1 million+ economic contracts, they want to be sure that it WILL do what they WANT it to do WHEN it's supposed to.

"Would you like to own" I'm gonna use this to close more clients
@ofusowre7620
@ofusowre7620 5 жыл бұрын
Hmm. I would prefer to use the other option. Let's get the paperwork done. The problem with the "would you like to own" is that the customer would start to think. To think again about the product. Your about to close the client. They are NOT supposed to think. Again and again and again.... They might rethink everything and you loose the sale. Focus about them not being able to think. The other option is light-years better. You force them to act in a natural way. Which is to sign the agreement. Make them act, NOT think when you close the deal. 😉
@ofusowre7620
@ofusowre7620 5 жыл бұрын
@Rob Wilton Even though this guy owning this channel is a great closer. I like the content. The words "would you like to own" is just wrong. In my opinion you should never say that when closing the deal. Nothing is done before the contract has been signed. Speak about the weather or whatever after the contract is signed. Not before. You already know the client is interested. Why start over again? Also it's another advantage if you use the other option which is great. "Let's get the paperwork done". If the client has any objections he would tell them to you. And it's very important that you stay cool and listen carefully. When he or her speak it's the only problem you have left to solve to close the deal. But you got to d it immediately. Not waiting one single day. If it's just a little too expensive or other practical issues and your able to meet the client wishes, Fix them asap, within an hour or at least the same day. Make sure you can call him back asap. Make a new appoitmet at the call or meeting. Tell him you need a few minutes to solve the issues. That is all. And tell him you will call him back asap as well. If you let him or her think for some time you might loose the deal. While closing. Time is money. Give them time and you loose money rather :) And remember, if you can't solve the issues he has. Stay strong. It doesn't mean he's not going to buy. Only now you are a seller. You tell him straight up that you have given him the best offer possible. You got to understand that the buyer wants to check if he's got the best possible price if he's a professional. So you say. I ll double check if we can do anything more and call you back in a few minutes. When you call him back you tell him the truth. It's the best we can do. The offer stands as is until tomorrow. Great if you call me back asap, because I got to move on with another client. And you don't call him back. Now it's ok if he or she think. And the buyer will call you back if interested. If not your waisting your time to call them back. Rather write a short mail. We will love to speak again at another time. If you want to be a brilliant seller. Make the buyer call you. Then you are the winner. It's a mind game to be a great closer. I ve been a seller and now a buyer. I know about both sides of the coin :-)
@ofusowre7620
@ofusowre7620 5 жыл бұрын
@Rob Wilton I see :-) I misunderstood then. Still, even after the contract is signed I rather not speak about it. You never know if second thoughts could appear. Deflect the subject to something funny or neutral. Like the weather or other none relevant subjects. And if anything practical is needed to do. Do it immediately. Continue with that. The buyer will be impressed by your dedication and will trust you the next time as well. Which means more signed contracts 👍

Avoid these words/phrases: 1. To be "honest" with you! 2. Trust me! 3. Sorry to bother you! 4. Just following up. 5. BUY! Use "own" or "take home with you" instead. 6. Contract. Say "agreement" instead. 7. I haven't heard back from you! 8. Individual. 9. We are better than "x". (x=competitor)

I’m just now hopping into sales, never having been to school or anything for business. I’m doing surprisingly well, but this... this is gonna help me even more. I’ve been saying sorry to bother you a lot. Not gonna do that anymore...

Extremely valuable advice! "agreement" and "OWN" will be such game changers for me. What about selling intangible items like insurance or services what would be the word to replace "own"?
