That it was someone that was not on the medias raports of possible Jazz trades at all. So if that's accurate (and I have no reason to believe it's not) then that player Danny was talking probably wasn't Jrue.

When Danny talked about toughness I really thought he would have said Collin, because he is so crazy intense all the time. Love KD as well.

Ainge says Jazz going big game hunting and no plan meaning they want to add star and make run playoffs next year but if no one they want available they could just tank another year for Cooper Flagg. I dont see star available they would want unless they are interested in Trae Young or Brandon Ingram. Ingram makes sense to me but he isnt a #1 option either. Ingram = Lauri. They would make a great pair of forwards both long and with a added front court (Hendricks =-when Jazz go small), Kessler= when Jazz go big. John Collins would need to be traded to Pelicans along with with picks to make deal go through.

He traded away the starting five of a team that was capable of going very far into the playoffs, and maybe one piece away from getting to the Finals. Now Jazz fans get to watch Gobert leading the T-Wolves and Mitchell leading the Cavs into the playoffs. If they do everything right, in a few years the Jazz would be back to having players as good as Mitchell, Gobert, Conley, Bogdanovic and O'Neal. In the meantime, Jazz fans get to suffer through 35 win playoff-less seasons.

I don't know that 23-12 is such a mamouth jump. The Jazz of Mitchell and Gobert jumped pretty good going to the #1 seed, as has OKC now. You get the players, you can do it. And what about all this talk of CHAMPIONSHIP we've been hearing? That's #1. If we are going to get there then we will have to make a mamouth jump.

Look, the two guys the Jazz got rid of are having the season of their lives. Opportunity is just that, a chance to do good. It doesn’t mean you will. They could have been a championship threat right now. That’s a fact pretty much when you see how their former players are playing today. So, please don’t try to lull me to sleep with talk of what might happen if all of the stars align. Let’s see a contemporary team he’s built reach the playoffs and maybe advance a bit before we start anointing him a mastermind.
