I used to be mad a Dre when I was younger but now being that I’m older I just feel Dre foreseen what everybody else couldn’t see. He saw the downfall and destruction before everybody else saw it. Regardless I don’t think Pac would have lived past 25. I feel his time was set and if you look at it him staying any longer may have caused him the impact that he have on everyone. But Dre I just felt like that wasn’t his energy and now that I’m older I can clearly see why.
@MichaelBrown-ti1un2 жыл бұрын
Indeed. It's always interesting to look at things in hindsight, and especially, well hopefully, with a bit more inquired wisdom. Dre was the smartest man in the industry, at the time, to realize getting off that eventual sinking ship at Death Row, was the move. Love the Row's legacy, but any sane adult could foresee that the constant drama over there wasn't sustainable.

Dre had no interest in being on Death Row anymore when Pac got there. He thought that he had more control being in charge of the talent, and once Suge brought in artists, that didn’t sit right with him. Then all of the extra stuff Suge and the homies were doing at the studios to people, he wasn’t with that. Dre was already working with Jimmy Iovine on a plan to get his own imprint so he wasn’t really trying to be around anymore.

Thank you Danny Boy for giving a voice to not only Tupac, but those of us who are LGBT and still suffer discrimination. No matter how the world judges us…we are one ❤️🌈

Big up to Danny boy another O.G from that death row era that probably never got enough props for his part. ✌️

I think DB wasn't seen as Death Row in their eyes due to his image. I think Death Row were concerned about having an image of "gangsters" and Danny Boy to them was an singer to keep around in a since because he sounded good. If he had more the image of Nate Dogg they would add him. Sadly, if you come out clean there's no reward. Had to get your hands dirty in death row to be recognized. To Danny Boy is an image that labels should want to have, these are the people who are likeable by the media.

I used to rock with you Danny boy until I saw the video where you were disrespecting 2pac Makaveli the Don! I can't believe people haven't seen it already! DB are you mad because you feel his death has something to do with you being a nobody in "Hollywood"? I just don't understand how you went in on 2pac like that when your only relevant because of Pac and the tracks you were on with 2pac no doubt they're undeniably timeless. I really couldn't and still can't understand why you spoke so ill of a man who really helped your career

Just cause Dre didn't physically go to court to support Snoop, doesn't mean he wasn't supporting Dogg. He might've been there for him on the side. If Snoop wasn't bothered by it, why didTupac have taken it to heart? Another thing, Dre didn't want to be around all that toxicity. Thats why he stopped putting his body, mind & soul in to Death Row. If a person's place of employment became a violent, toxic, and cancerous place to be, on a daily basis... would any sane individual still want to be there being trapped in the element? It seems like the smartest chess player in Ruthless &; Death Row...was Dre. By hooking up with Jimmy Iovine. He became the most successful individual over the decades....he outshined everyone in the end. Dre became what Suge couldn't be. Dre 40 / Suge 0

Wasnt Dre on House arest at that time ? Because of the dee barnes incident ?
@theonlyswangeo2 жыл бұрын
It was due to a car chase Dre had in ‘94 while driving under the influence, which violated his parole from the Dee Barnes case. This lead to an 8 month jail sentence, through a work-release program spent at a halfway house.

This guy was a very small piece of DR.He sang a few hooks and that's all that he's done worth mentioning.Didnt have any hits himself.Just because he hung around the studio to get scraps now he thinks he deserves a place in biopic.delusional.The only reason he gets interviewed is because he gossips.That's his only way of getting attention.name drop.
