Seeing Katt shake up the Internet yesterday got me thinking about this interview again. It was a turning point for me personally as well as how I felt & looked at some of these entertainers. Mike still got his integrity to this day, even after all the attack pieces levied against him around the time of this 💪🏽

This wasn't a Mike epps vs Kevin hart thing like it may be portrayed, he really dropped gems in the interview. From the fame, life and friendship convos he really got deep.

Mike Epps is spot on about the Gatekeepers, I worked in the Art Department for various movies and saw this firsthand at production meetings, storyboards, and casting.

Katt Williams was a great actor in Meet the Blacks 2. I hope he'll be cast in many more movies, and in some serious roles, some major dramatic roles. Minus any crying or weeping unless it's over a lost one. He's really capable of some great acting. Due to his relatively high level of intelligence and worldly experience, his considerable respect for others and his ability to listen, I'm confident that film directors would find him a treat to work with. That thing (his charisma or charm) would result in some classic movies, to come.

Mike is not afraid. He is not jealous. He did pave the way. What he is saying is many people who are tops in their industry are there not because of great talent, but because they arrived at a time where technology can boost you to appear to be greater than what you are. How many times have you seen a singer with no talent out shine a singer with talent simply because of the internet. They may be more attractive, have a bit more swag, or money and can influence the crowds. But it's not based just on the talent alone.
