I'm actually getting a big Elfman/Boingo tattoo portrait soon. No matter how he feels, I'm going to always love Boingo and those days of him because they inspire me as much as his orchestral stuff does. As a musician as well, I think it's something that happens when you get older and look back on; songs I wrote ten years ago that friends and family still love I CAN'T stand now and kind of want to forget about. I think it's just a part of the human condition.

Damn I love Elfman. Just an incredible talent. So often I found is work by seeking out "who did the soundtrack to..." His style has so much personality. Didn't take long to hear his fingerprint.
