yo danny, here's a tip!! the wither skeletons (the black ones) are 3 blocks tall and you're 2 blocks tall. you can use that to your advantage and build little bridges across the walls - so you can go under them but they just bang their foreheads on it and get stuck. then you can just whack their shins and they can do nothing about it 😎 you can do it at different points in the fortress as a little defense :)

🐸 Hey Danny! You should make a bubble elevator to get up to your base quicker! They’re faster than ladders and swimming up water streams, not to mention they’re super fun to use! They aren’t complicated to build, however, describing how to build them takes a while so I just re-phrased a tutorial from online. 💧 Here’s how to build it: First, you will need a bucket filled with water, blocks of your choosing, and one soul sand block. The soul can be found in the nether, but be careful, the nether is a dangerous place for boys named Danny. (: To start things off, begin building a verticale tube with your choice of blocks, make sure there is a one block gap in the tube. Once at your preferred height, in the tube, dig one block down and place your soul sand in that spot. Create a two-block tall doorway in the tube so you can get inside. Place two signs in the doorway, this will stop the water from flowing out. Go to the top of your tube and place the water inside so it flows all the way down to the bottom. If you can see bubbles in the water, then you are finished, however, if there are not, you will need to make sure the entire stream of water is a source block. To do this, grab kelp from the bottom of the ocean and plant it on some dirt inside the tube. Stack the kelp until you reach the top of the tube. Now, all your blocks should be a source water block. To remove all the kelp, just punch the bottom kelp block. Replace the dirt with the original soul sand and your done! Optional: To make elevator that boosts you down, do the same thing as before, but use a magma block instead of a soul sand block (also found in the nether). If this still doesn’t make sense, just look it up lol. It might be easier that way. 💦

i don't know if Danny reads these comments, but if he does i recommend doing a raid at a village. harming a pillage gives you the bad omen effect, and when near villagers it sends a band of them after you with a ravenger boss. once you kill the boss you get the "hero of the village" trait that gives you good trade with the villagers, and you can also get a revival/ death survival tool (totem of undying)
