All of this! Yes!!! THIS IS THE PERFECT PRIMER FOR RUNNING HORROR!! And honestly, any campaign. Having a good handle on arousal states for your players - and a comprehensive session zero that includes safety tools - is something I think needs to be emphasized more when we teach each other how to be on the other side of the screen, no matter what the genre. I'm gonna put this video in my back pocket for any one I might mentor in storytelling.

Would love to see a.spotlight on the amazing games coming out of Free League Publishing. I think they are producing some of the most diverse games to hit the ttrpg market in a while.

Hey there! I just came across your video in my feed - good stuff! There is a bit where you mention "Session zero" with a chalkboard... i am not sure if it's a font decision or not, but it looks like you wrote Session Lero to some of us older folk who were taught to write in cursive. I'm not too scared, though - I'll have to check out some more of your videos! Keep up the good work

Thank you so much for the kind words! And I agree with you!! That's just what the font package decided a capital Z looked like - it looks very stylish but not exactly a cursive Z. I didn't want to go looking again for another CC0 font so I just left it as is. Didn't think anyone would notice though! How funny!

Great vid! I’m not sure if horror is for me though. I love the idea of Ravenloft I just don’t know if I can execute on it.
